War Within is fun for a noob

Ha! I know. Some folks just can’t enjoy life.

I’m having a good time. All I see are people complaining about the state of the game and I thought an optimistic post would be a good change. Some folks will never be happy.

It’s honestly refreshing to have someone talking about how much they’re enjoying it; too many people get jaded

How is blizzard catering to the elites when since Legion ever new feature has been designed around helping the non elites?

yeah, it seems like it would be cool. i often wish “man i wish this was a thing when i started.” i’d like to see them buff low level mobs or make players weaker, though. and have more Level ?? mobs here and there. it creates more of a sense of wonder when you’re questing in like Darkshore or whatever and you see this area that’s full of Level ?? mobs, like Tower of Anthalaxx back in LK.

I barely even care for the xpack after getting to 80 the 1st time. Same thing happened with all 3 of the recent xpacks. I played the main story, got to max level, then didn’t touch new content until halfway / toward the end of current xpack. I still haven’t done any goblin stuff outside of the base city introduction. And when I say base, I mean not even doing the new driving stuff or whatever it is.
I mainly level alts lol.

I’d bet that there are a lot more people like you than people that live at end-game. I just can’t keep doing the dailies and weeklies for too long before I get bored.

Dailies and weeklies are not that important at the end game

You read my mind. also I can’t stand it when people pee over someone’s enjoyment just for no other reason than they can. Complete loser move.

The most fun I’ve had in wow (other than the first 3 days of 10.0.7) was in my first weeks. The exploration and learning was fun and exciting. It is difficult to replicate that now in even another game as guides are super easy to find for any goal.

Me also. Just have your fun and don’t let anyone try to crush it for you. Be careful of what people say on these forums, too. Welcome to Wow, and keep having your fun.

Fair enough, but then what? Doing mythics over and over again? Raiding? Never really liked being tied to other people’s schedules.

shrug

Some people like having friends.

The world was the original appeal of wow to new players. Leveling took a long time. There were lots of things to see and do and explore. Only later, sometime after reaching max level, did most players begin to look for more, for harder content, for group activities. They had all the time in the world to make this decision.

Interesting how you twisted “not wanting to build your entertainment around other people’s schedules” into “not liking having friends”.

Glad to hear/see you’re having fun, just keep doing whatever it is in the game you find enjoyable and don’t let anyone ruin it for you. Welcome to WoW.

Yeah, many of us have jobs. Paying for a video game isn’t something we need to discuss with a financial advisor. May I suggest learning to weld? You can make enough to afford this game if you learn to weld.
