We’re over 3 months since launch without a sale on War Within.
This is not a complaint. In fact it’s great news!
It means WoW is healthier again and is a departure from when Dragonflight went on sale only 2 and a half months in.
Just a meaningless thought that crossed my mind. I do hope to see it go on sale for Christmas for gifting purposes, but the fact it hasn’t thus far is a good thing.

you can get war within for free if you do the mountain dew promotion thing.
I really wish it would. I’d love to buy it for my friend, but I really can’t spare money at the moment.

No, you can’t. I’ve tried for two weeks. There are limited amounts released every Monday, and scalpers have bots running to buy the good rewards from that up. The WoW expac and the XBox are sold out within like 13 seconds. 
I normally buy the base edition, then get the upgrades when the sales come out. I was in a rush to get the goodies this time though.

So much this.
Last Monday I saw it pop, I hit redeem and it was ‘sold out’ before the first minute was up. It’s been three weeks of this for me. A normal person has a hard time beating the bots.
Personally hoping it goes on sale for Christmas in the next week or two, as I plan to get it for the wife when/if it does. If not, will still get the base version, but I’d like to pay…less. 
Yep, it really sucks. I was so happy when I saved up the 4k points, only to be met with that.
Tangent incoming, but back when my niece was like 8 years old, she was really into the Monster High dolls. Well, when they stock them, the male dolls are really rare. Like one per pallet or something.
Anyway, we were at Walmart one day when they were stocking. There were a couple other little girls there, and the guy was nice and let them look through the pallet and get ones they wanted before he put them on the shelf. My niece managed to grab a male one and she was stoooooked, but the other girls were still looking.
Then suddenly, two middle-aged women ran up like vultures and shuffled through those boxes, grabbing dolls away from kids to get the rare ones to sell on ebay. And I know they were selling them because they were talking about it as they did it. “Ooooh, he goes for nearly $100. Do you see any more?” etc.
I was like … there is no way. I swear if Katie (niece) hadn’t already had hers, I would’ve went to jail right there. lol She would have gotten one.
I can’t stand that type of person. XP And that’s what I imagine the botters as. Just lazy slobs without jobs, sitting there taking rewards and opportunities from legit fans.
That is just so horrible! The botters and scalpers can be terrible.
It took two years to get ahold of a MyLifeAs Cindy Lou Who doll. This doll sells for around 20-30 dollars and scalpers sell is for around 200-300 dollars. I mean it’s a Walmart brand doll.
When I saw it ‘coming soon’ on the Walmart website, I told my mom and we preordered immediately . That’s the only way we could get one, they would hold one for us. The second the doll hits the shelves the scalpers are there. People can just be so greedy.
Why put the game on sale and admit lack luster sales when you can release a store mount for the same value as an epic edition TWW.
