War within Alliance and Horde dungeon finder

Will alliance and horde be able to do dungeon finder next expansion? My friends play horde but I love the alliance races.

Honestly, random group tool should be cross-faction at this point.

It’d make stuff faster.

M+, rated PvP, and raiding has been cross-faction since Shadowlands.

There was a bug during the mop remix that you could do cross faction lfg so we know it works.

There’s little reason not to. And if they want to cite people who don’t want to play cross-faction, just make it an opt-out.

Blizzard isn’t keen on this, because it forces people into groups they may not want to be in. They want people to have a choice as to whether they’re grouped cross faction.

But I think if you’ve got a full five man group, you should be able to queue for Timewalking and the like.

Idk why they don’t just have an opt in or out toggle like they do for other features.

Sounds like a lazy excuse to me, from them.

Because that would split the playerbase and hurt everyone’s que times.

Same company that just did an entire update for Wide Queue in Overwatch during a pretty important uptick in engagement.

Just put a disclaimer saying “hey you might have worse queue times in this option” even though realistically the split won’t mean anything, given the pools you can draw from in queued content.

No word from beta, it continues like it is today.

Wasn’t there something in Ashran where you could play as the opposite faction?
I cant recall if this was something the player selected, or if it was based on how many people had queued?

Mercenary mode.

And it still exists, just requires you to be on the minority faction in regards to PvP queues.

Apparently if PvP queues get too long for a specific faction, these mercenary-recruiter NPCs will appear.

Only a feature for unrated BGs, because faction doesn’t matter/exist in rated.
