Does anyone know how much they spawn? Also, can you have the map open and see the drop off no matter where you are in DF? Or do you have to be in the same zone that it drops in to see it on the map? I keep trying to look for one and I never see it

Not sure on the spawn timing but it seems like 1 every 15-30 mins. You have to be in the same zone to see it on the map. Once they hit the ground and claimed they last about 30 seconds to a minute before despawning.

One huge bonus they changed is the plane icon will stop and make mini circles around where it drops the box.
