War Supply Crate Scenario fresh out of the oven

I camped my character at Ohn’ahran Plains for war supply crate drops, for blood tokens. Here it came and I typed in /1 lets go to the crate guys, no one said a word. I got there, a horde shaman, warlock and hunter showed up. The hunter was too scared to approach so I began to attack the warlock, he could handle 2-3 of my chaos bolts, the shaman jumped on me, I killed him, he resed with ank blew me off the cliff, I goblin glider and landed on a rock below the cliff. Mounted up and flew back to the crate, by that time they have already claimed the crate because there are 2 of them, the lock already started looting the crate, I killed the shaman a 2nd time but it was too late. Horde is winning simply by out number me. Bad game design.

Hm. Am I still allowed to say “cool story, bro” in 2023?

Skill issue tbh

Bringing a friend seems like a very smart and viable tactic.

So…you go solo vs a group…in an MMO…and because the group of players was rewarded…in an MMO…it’s bad game design?

Hmm.

What if they don’t have any friends? You should be more sensitive to the friend challenged.
sarcasm it goes without saying

They are also individuals, it happens in the matter of 20 sec, where do you find friends to come help in few sec. The crate landed on the western cliff, I put my port at a higher cliff.

Ya win some ya lose some. When it comes to war you just gotta take your lumps.

What would you propose to address the issue? It doesn’t seem possible for Blizz to provide exactly the same number of alliance and horde wpvpers at a specific spot in any given time.

You don’t know they were not friends or grouped. You are trying to act like numbers should not matter.

Outnumbering one’s opponent has been a viable strategy since forever.

Game design is working as intended in this case.

“Bad game design”
You missed a chest in a pvp game. There aren’t always gonna be people there. WPvp’s kinda niche anyways. Unfortunately.

Ever since WoW went Kumbaya about Faction Conflict, PvP is dead to me. It serves no purpose now.

If I wanted to hold hands, I’d go play Final Fantasy Fourteen-Times-As-Boring.

Are 2 of them just supposed to watch you solo the 3rd guy and then let you have the crate if you win?

What do you have against Thunderdome?

come to the wyrmrest accord shard Alliance outnumber us by an insane amount, getting a war supply crate isn’t even a pipe dream because the pipe is full of alliance

This is just one of the many cases this week, I camped in the area or other areas the entire night last night, it’s always 1-3 Alliance against 3x the Horde

If you’re looking for sympathy for losing in PVP its never going to happen. You lost. Move on to the next battle…or don’t. Turning off warmode is always an option.
