Shadowlands will cause me to resub for a small while and test the waters, but unless it’s SUPER GOOD, I won’t stay for long.
At least bringing back abilities won’t (hopefully) turn out like Black Mage on FFXIV, because hoo boy let me tell you.
Black Mage at high level sounds like a lot of self-flagellation. I swapped to Red the moment I could from Black.
Shadowlands, I think, is when I officially give up on geography and getting to there and back and whatnot and rationalizing that. I know, I know. Warlords had a time travelling Dark Portal. But another plane - the plane of DEFF - seems like something else I can’t quite put my finger on somehow. I haven’t looked at anything beyond what was initially dropped at BlizzCon because I’ve known since Mists that if I scavenge around too much I won’t enjoy myself as much as I would at launch.

I started warcraft with friends, then they all eventually dropped. We had an end goal before we all bought the game in 2009-ish to play until we defeated the big bad boss - the burning legion.
I puttered around a bit in BfA, but ultimately I met my goal and am satisfied with it.
My members adore me. I have complete control and you know why? Cause I lead them to victory. I punish the bad and reward to good. A big difference in your small peon sized guild.
I hope that when we bring 4-5 raids, you all have some resistance or something else to do, cause it won’t be killing us, it will be us killing you.
