At one point in time the addon known as Carbonite used to be really popular. It also had all the features inside one addon bundle, until it got so big that they split up the features into multiple folders. One of the most fun features of it at the time was the ability to allow other users of the addon to track you and your health on the map. If you were in trouble your own faction could help you out.
Carbonite Social is pretty much dead at this time. I can’t much use out of it now, but it still carries with it what I see as a good idea. Finding players in need. Could we get something like that for War Mode? It would be nice for there to be a friendly target to rally together around instead of painting a bounty target to avoid.
You know you’re not supposed to avoid the bounties right? They’re a reward just waiting to be gathered. The problem with war mode is player attitude.
Each bounty is usually surrounded by 1 to 3 additional enemies. It is better to know what targets the bounties are about to strike so that people may offer their support.
Dude you’re a priest, you can’t die. Grab a buddy and take out the bounty. At least we don’t log as soon as we get the bounty debuff.

That is the thing though. I’m a priest. Bounty targets aren’t something I heal. I’m asking for something to allow friendly targets to locate friendly targets.
Press H, click premade groups, click create, type (Zone Name) Bounty and create. Invite players that queue. Or, join one of the 150 man alliance raids that crash shards just by existing and roll over the bounty player while they disconnect.

The LFG tool is nice, yes. Fighting in guilds is nice, yes. The mentality you mentioned earlier is in part due to people not thinking they really stand a fighting chance out in the world alone. They don’t see friendly players, so they avoid the PvP. Giving people something to rally around would be a benefit.
Edit: On a side thought, have you ever played the game GW2? It has a neat system for raid groups. The raid groups are called “Squads” and the leader has a tag over their head. This tag acts as a visual LFG system on the map. It is awesome at rallying players to a point. People in that game use them all the time in World vs World and world bosses. It doesn’t have world PvP like in this game, but could you imagine if WoW had that squad system? It would be so much easier to bring a faction together.
One of those World Quest Party add ons are probably what OP is looking for.
Otherwise Cryptids League has 4 communities full of accounts and are Btag friends with a ton of other Alliance side WPvP players to join up with.
Hit us up on twitter or check groupfinder if you need a community invite.
I’m pretty against my own faction knowing my locations on the map at all times but I like where you are thinking op. Maybe they have to be within a reasonable range.

What’s the point of a map marker if you would just join that players group anyway? Groups that are looking for more will be listed on LFG and you can join in. The tools you are looking for already exist OP, it just sounds like you’re not using them properly.
