As stated the war effort was completed on Sulfuras almost an hour ago. Apparently a large portion of the wareffort was collected by one guild on the server < GRIZZLY FROM REDDIT >.

What’s the reaction of the rest of the serve like? Are they pumped someone did all the work for them? Annoyed that the event almost had 0 impact on them because someone else did it all?

Some horde are salty as they didn’t want it open so soon so they could all farm scarab lord. I think the majority are happy and its a relief they get an extra lockout of AQ while the majority of servers won’t get one.
I know my guild was hoping they would do it and got a jump on the scarab farm so we could get scarab lord in guild

I don’t think you understand how this event works. The gates are not open for any server that has completed the War Effort.

If people needed to slow down the event to try and get the bug-mount, then they were never actually prepared to do what it takes to get it in the first place.

Good for Sulfuras. Seems kinda weird that the turn ins are a set number of items, instead of a number determined by the server population. Each individual contributes significantly less materials on larger servers.

yeah and they didn’t even start on this server at launch. They transferred here months ago and had mats for both sides ready. Completely ruined experience for the AQ event.

I just wish they went to some low pop server since they transferred as a group. They solo farmed everything, they could have just done it on a empty server instead.
