Curious how other servers are doing…with all the stockpiling that occurred, I thought we’d be farther along! I guess we didn’t really fathom how big the numbers are.
I saw at least one server already finished.

Kromcrush Horde side had about 50% of all materials collected when I checked @ 6p.m. yesterday.
In the middle of moving so I’m not sure how much we’ve progressed since then.
Skeram was already completed; I just wanted to participate at least; and had a stack of Peacebloom and Wool Bandages; but already all turned in… I had just come back for awhile after doing a bunch of stuff in retail; because I wanted to experience this event specifically, definitely a huge letdown
How does it work on the really imbalanced servers? Our server is alliance heavy and I notice alliance has more required turn ins. On a really imbalanced server does the minority faction only have a tiny fraction of the turnins?
on Faerlina, the largest horde guild is holding out to stack scarab lords.
Numbers looked similar to me on Skeram. Horde side finished before I got home from work, and alliance side was about 2/3 done. I could be wrong but I didn’t see w big number discrepancy when I talked to the alliance npc in org.
Faerlina is a huge server! Surely one guild doesn’t have that kind of influence? There must be a larger coalition working with them who agree with what they are doing, even if they aren’t openly supporting them.
It starts from the top. Yes there is a coalition. and most of the horde guilds are just trying to rely on alliance to send them mats, while they pvp/rank. “I could farm mats but should I when we could just get alliance to”. The mats are already farmed but there is no way they are being turned in unless have their desired scarab lords. This guild we are talking about is huge and reliably had over 100 members farming bugs right after release on one layer.
There is still 90% of the event to go… I get wanting to be involved in the war effort, but at the same time its just handing in a material quest with no interesting quest dialogue or anything. All the interesting stuff has yet to happen
ah, that must be frustrating as an alliance player. I will say though, I know everyone wants to get into AQ, but it does also give you more time to get your scarab lords!

I mean horde on our server are very far behind on mats. We all now that all the mats have been farmed already, they are just being hoarded. I get that some people feel entitled to have more scarab lords, but its seriously just a mount. Yes its exclusive, but what are you gonna do? sit afk in org all day on the scarab mount? You do realize that the more people that get scarab lord, the less exclusive it gets. would you rather have more scarab lords or earlier access to the raids?

Skeram Has the Guild on slot which is one of the top world guilds. They have been collecting since the release. By the time we got out of BWI all on Tuesday at 10:30 PM all of the horde was already done. And onslaught also did all of the alliance quests turn in also by using neutral AH and extra accounts. They did this even though we’re at 97-3 server.
All of the quest have been completed as of like 5 AM this morning.
We’re expecting the gates to be opened about 11 PM on Tuesday night. They have to do veil and then complete the rest of the quest and then there’s a 10 hour wait. So it all depends on what time the servers reset for BW all on Tuesday which is normally about 1230.
