So I was just thinking, are we going to need to do the war campaign on each character to access 8.2 content? I’ve got 6 characters myself, and I have only done it on two of them. If we need to do it to get to nazjatar/mechagon I’ve got my work cut out for me.
We won’t know but the smart bet is this:
You’ll need to do Mechagon questing to “attune” for OMG on every character until it gets split and added to keys in Season 4?
They did this with Karazhan and the Suramar dungeons, didn’t they?
I dont think they would do that cause of the rep grind you have to get to finish the main part of the campaign, though its already werid enough that the new part is required for tauren players to get their new heritage armor
does it have to be the tauren that does it or can i do it on this warlock and then do the unlock quest on my tauren?
Don’t think they’ll tie the campaign to 8.2. Imagine how many players who may return to only be locked to KT and Zandalar and remain there till some reputation has been acquired.
Anyone know more about this? The patch 8.2 survival guide from Blizzard said anyone who had unlocked world quests would be able to get into the new content. But I wanted to make sure this wasn’t overlooked.

No. All you need to do is unlock world quests, and then you’ll get the quest to head off to Nazjatar. After you finish the intro and get your HoA upgrade, then you’ll head off to Mechagon.
