Hi, so i wanted to be a guide and help newcomers learn the game, but i can’t.
Currently the requirements are level 60, 3000 quests and 2 of many achievements.
I am level 60, KSM, AOTC, leveled almost every class to 120 in BFA, currently have 5 at 60… Why is the 3000 quests achievement a requirement? I don’t have that achievement on any toon i have.
It’s not that i don’t know questing, it’s not that i can’t do it, it’s just that i feel like requiring that achievement is a rough requirement. not to mention in total i may have close to 10,000 quests complete across many different toons.
Is there any thought of making a loop around for this 3k quest requirement to become a guide?
Thanks for you time!
Theres no real answer to this and unfortunately theres no one on the forums that can help you as there are no devlopers here either, that being said theres no reason why u cant go back and do every single quest available ingame it will take time but it is doable.
The quest requirement is likely there to ensure that guides have been exposed to a lot of content within many expansions.
Back when I was a hiring manager I learned there is a difference between having 10 years of varied experience and having one year of experience repeated 10 times.
Once I got my Loremaster achievements, I started leveling characters only in specific zones based upon either profession resources or specific rewards offered by a particular zone.
I tend to run all character through the same subset of zones now.
FWIW, I believe the 3000 quest requirement is an account level requirement, not a character level achievement. There are 24,000+ quests is WoW.
