How is it not in line with what they want to deliver? They’re already selling me a level skip. Now just give me a gold skip.
China has the wow token in their version of Classic. Some blizzard dev wrote that code, didn’t they?

You got a one time gold skip of 100g with your one time level skip to 70. Enjoy!
Thank you for highlighting the reason Blizzard should never cave an inch to the “QoL” crowd.
If you’re truly willing to play how it was at launch, then at least you’re consistent. I’ll give you that. I think most would disagree, though.
Why does Blizzard treat it’s Chinese customers different than it’s other customers?
Why was the World of Warcraft Time Badge feature introduced into the World of Warcraft classic nostalgia?
We heard feedback from players saying that they want to buy game coins in a safe and legitimate manner, rather than through an unauthorized third-party gold exchange service-this is also one of the main reasons for problems with player accounts. We also learned that players who have obtained a lot of gold coins through the normal game flow also want to trade with other players in order to exchange game time and reduce their own recharge time. The “World of Warcraft” time badge feature allows both players to conduct transactions in a safe and straightforward manner. This also opens up a new payment option for World of Warcraft players, hoping that it will reduce problems with account numbers and improve the overall gaming experience.
Hello yes, Blizzard. I want to buy gold coins. This is my feedback.
Because they have a long standing culture of P2W. Keep it as far away from NA as possible.
no it’s not rdf was built on the infrastructure the servers had at that time. That infrastructure is no longer in existance.
Classic WoW isn’t some rose garden. There is massive P2W with gold buying and no one bats an eye because plenty of “hardcore” players are doing it. Blizzard barely bans you, it’s like a week at most and sometimes they don’t even take away all the items lol.
WoW token wouldn’t change that. If anything it’d decrease the bots since the buyers would migrate from the bot gold sellers to blizzard.
Thinking the wow token will remove gold sellers
Such a tiiiired argument. The solution to gold buying isn’t to add official avenues to gold buying. It’s to permanently account ban anyone caught buying from all current and future Classic servers on the first offense.
Delete the cheaters and watch them flock back to retail. Nothing of value lost.
I don’t think most hardcore classic folks are from retail. Aren’t they from the P servers?
Lmao why wouldn’t you buy gold, most of the people on the forums buy gold themselves.
It’s super cheap, cheaper than TBC and Blizzard doesn’t ban anyone.
The reason why I personally don’t do it is because the game is pretty dead and will only get even more empty once DF comes out next month so I don’t want to invest in something that has no future.
You realize there would be the same amount of groups, right?
That’s a bold statement.
I highly doubt it’s more than 1% of the players who cheat by buying gold.
They ban folks for a few days and sometimes forget to take their stuff away.
If it’s 1% of players, why the heck are there so many bots farming gold to service so few customers? There’s a lot of people using RMT in WoW Classic. Heck sometimes GDKPs want you to “join their discord” wink wink.
I mean even the hyper inflation on some realms is insane because of how much the bots have made the economy.
Anywho, back to the RDF discussion. It should be in the game. Insane that they’d add heroic+ a feature that wasn’t even in the game, but remove RDF.
Idc what you say lmao, I’ve seen it myself and I know how many bots exist since people post it daily and also personally see people on my server who buy it a lot.
You’d have to be a borderline idiot to not buy gold when there’s no consequences and it’s as cheap as it is, like I said though it’s not worth it imo because even if you buy a lot Wrath is also really dead at end game and the leveling scene is dying out too.
That’s probably why it’s so cheap tbh, that and the million DK bots roaming around everywhere.
Got any conclusive sources for your made up numbers to support your point? Didnt think so.
First of all, you posted a video by CDank, someone with no credibility, but also that title is clickbaity because a) he never makes such a claim in the video and b) source for those numbers is: trust me bro.
Second of all, get lost Cdank / Cdank crony.
Welcome to the ‘bUt MuH sOcIaL’ experience toxic classic community.
1% of 40k is still 400 people, that is a lot of people for those bots to sell to.
It seems like a lot because they are visible, but the whales are not that common and surely not the majority.
There is a massive cohort of retail players in Wrath (forums) right now.
The forums are gonna shift drastically in November, and I can’t wait.
