Yeah, this zone is tiny, ugly, and usually forgotten. Its only point of interest is Karazhan. Which is exactly why it needs a neutral flight path point, given how much traffic Karazhan gets, between old and new versions of the dungeon, quests, sightseeing…
Believe it or not when you’re new to the game Deadwind Pass and Ghostlands are the toughest zones to understand and travel across.
hearth to Stormwind/portal from valdrakken
Get outside mage tower in Stormwind
Mount up, point your character to Karazhan
Auto fly NumLock key and use the bathroom/get water
Why is that hard?
/use dungeon portal to karazhan
deadwind pass is a dangerous area…i’m surprised anyone would want to visit such a dark place!
Because when I do that, I sometimes forget what I’m doing, walk away, and come back to find myself 20 miles off the coast of the Blasted Lands and halfway to islands with no extradition treaties.
No, not really. But is it so wrong to want a single flight path to a zone that has none?
Also, it’s really funny to watch you editing your post in real time as you keep finetuning your rebuttal.
Then maybe you have ADHD and probably need some medicine to focus in WoW, letting yourself die in the ocean or fly further than necessary is a personal problem imo
Because I realized I might have to hold your hand for this one so I gave you more solutions
I remember when I first started WoW and wanted to go exploring. I do that a lot in open world games.
I make a bit of ways into Deadwind Pass and then all these spiders drop down on me. I get eviscerated in mere moments.
I understood why it’s called Deadwind Pass after that.
It’s definitely not a spot I’d want to vacation in.
Though one of my long time wishes is for guilds to be able to claim and renovate Karazhan into a guild hall or something.
