BREAKING NEWS FROM THE SEASON OF DISCOVERY SECRET FINDING DISCORD
After combing the Wowhead list of all NPCs that don’t have a location set for them, which assumes they likely haven’t been seen by anyone, I discovered a trend. All of them are elite NPCs likely related to each other.
Though our information is limited, my interpretation is this:
There are two murloc brothers named Chomp and Puddle. They are assumed to have kidnapped a baby murloc named Explrgl (murloc for Explore) also assumed to be the brother of the BFD trinket baby murloc, M’grrgl.
There are other elite NPCs with a similar naming convention, except it’s like, Mud Golem <Mercenary). So it is also assumed that the murloc brothers have paid for a group of mercenaries to help in the kidnapping and defense of poor lil Explrgl!
There are some other murloc/water themed spells and items that still haven’t been discovered such as a diving helmet with flavor text asking why a murloc would need a diving helmet and the lobster mount might even be related.
With all this said, keep in mind this is entirely based on the facts that these mobs follow a similar theme, naming convention, and have no written record of being seen. They all could be completely unrelated to each other. Though the fact remains…
