Y’all pres evoker gimme y’all’s feedback things you like vs dislike! Want to try it out but not sure
Echo + reversion makes double reversion
If target is 20-25y cast living flame followed by echo and it will do a double LF
Rewind is your best heal raid wide and very nice in BG
Emerald communion is the best life saver and all the overheal is transfered to your allies. If you combine that with lifebind its even better. To lifebind multiple allies, use Temporal Anomaly with echoed talent, and cast echoes on other allies, then verdant embrace yourself. Cast E.Communion immediately after.
Keep lvl1 dreambreath on your team, better if you do v.embrace before
Stasis is the best ability, play with it a alot.
I dont like much dreamflight
I dont like much emerald blossom
Im more pvp also
alright welcome to the master class.
You want to take Temporal Anomaly for basically all PVE content. Get the Echo talent afterwards. Get lifebind, Life bind will literally save your hair from falling out.
TA, get 3-4 echos out (5 if you can), Hit Verdant embrace on some one, This will activate Life Bind. Verdant embrace will heal for about 50-60k on 45% echos, nothing fancy but the main reason you want it on all targets or as many as possible, Lifebind, Life bind will make 40% of all healing on the target apply to all other life bind targets. This automatically includes you, with echos, it includes them.
SO… TA into Verdant Embrace into bascially any skill means group healing…
It also unlocks a very very very good use for Emerald Communion. What emerald communion does is heals you for 20% health and then nearby ally who needs it. This also applys during Lifebind.
What i tend to do when Verdant is on cooldown, TA Reversion on tank, ticks for about 4-6k depending on my trinket. Tank gets double cos of Echo a full one and a half one. During Lifebind TAs you also apply those hot ticks to the Life bind. Its basically a ramp healer.
After all of that, Emerald Blossom will make your life fantastic as it also echos the heal. Fluttering seedlings is basically a weaker Prayer of mending that doesnt jump.
Stasis is situational, nobody needs 3 chambers full of healing and by the time you set it up, you have to use it in 30seconds.
Raid content you want to throw TA 2-3 times, and drop lifebind followed by Emerald Blossoms. AOE raid healing on a whim. Fantastic for Terros
I love Prevoker but I am terrible at it. I have been practicing and my weak spot seems to be when I need the “oh sh!t” heals and I sorta fumble my keyboard whilst trying to save low hp people.
The range is a huge hurdle but it should take some getting used to. I also struggle with the Stasis ability that is apparently required for M+.
I love the blanket aoe heals and HoT way of healing, I love being able to keep up with go go go tanks, and I love “rescuing” my friend to their death.
Preservation benefits a lot from knowledge of the encounter. You have a few panic buttons (Rewind, instant Spiritbloom) but aside from that, if you’re in Eye of the Storm and you haven’t prepared you’re going to die. Spreading Echoes before a damage event, having the spells you need in Stasis, empowering Spiritbloom just before a big AoE etc all go a long way. Just takes some practice with the spec and in the content to figure that stuff out for yourself.
It’s definitely one of the harder healing specs to get started with. We do not have great ways to save individual players from being dumb - Verdant Embrace is very good, you often need it to quickly top people for certain mechanics, so having to spend it on the guy who got hit by avoidable damage is rough, and if you don’t have it then you have to scramble to save them. That’s not our fault but we have to deal with it all the same.
In general though, if you fail to heal something, try and shift your thinking from “what should I have pressed there” to “what should I have pressed 10 seconds before that”
