Want to see pathfinder complaints end?

Yeah your right players shouldnt be allowed to make the choice the nerve of us to be so presumptuous to think we had a choice in how we enjoy the game WE paid for?

We should get down on our knees kissing the boots of Blizzard for graciously bestowing such a gift to us mere mortals instead of acting like spoiled children

I don’t know how you got that out of my post but it’s a wildly inaccurate interpretation. I can repeat the main point again, Options need to be balanced.

No. It won’t have rep Tabards at all

Actually you didn’t pay for the game. The game is there’s. You pay for the right to play the game. Technically you’re renting it. You don’t actually own the game or your characters.

People should read the fine print

That’s just being pedantic. People aren’t going to type “I pay for lisence rights and monthly subscription fees” every time they want to bring up contributing to Blizzard’s bottom line.

Anyways, Pathfinder stinks and isn’t engaging in any level and fails on every level.

First, these type of hyper exaggerated “arguments” (I use the term loosely) need to stop. Infinite gold on command, press a button and get instant BiS gear, those type of “arguments” are asinine and only serve to hurt your point because of how ridiculous it is.

Second, if you’re not flying you’re not “disadvantaged”. Those are only made up in your head. Nodes are multi-tap so what exactly are you competing for?

What competition are you in? I’m guessing you’re one of those people that don’t like ground mounts, but you want everyone else to use them because you think it’s balanced. You’re using words like efficient and disadvantage, but you’re not saying what. AP? That’s gone next expansion. wPvP? Disable flight while WM is on and/or make a non-flying area.

We don’t wait 1 year for raids to be released, but they’re time gated. It’s not fair for those people that are not raiding then. I think it’s fair to say if raids are delayed for a month or 2 then why is flying different?

I’m sick of this “holier than thou” attitude you lot have when someone wants to play a game (any game) to the best of their ability.

If there is a Victory condition; It’s a competition. Between players. An AI. Scripted NPCs. Or otherwise. You’re challenging something, and wanting to succeed in your attempts is a very natural feeling for players to have.

I thought that was already clear from the conversation… my response to Koloi isn’t even about flying. It’s about rep tabards. Your whole post is just off the mark.

You’re not a victim.

There are several posts that are talking about tabards and flying in regards to WQ. I thought you were talking about both, but if it was just about tabards my mistake. I don’t know where you wanted to go with that rant, but you’re off the rails a bit.

Is this how you get green text? By saying the joy of rep grinding can somehow be ruined?

Apparently I’m a victim of your assumptions.
You should learn to read before you respond, as well as humbly admit when you make a mistake.

It was far from a rant. My post contained less words than yours.

But I hate doing dungeons OP. I only do them once to get the story, then I go onto raids and the open world.

Nah, by saying the players deserve something more engaging/modern than WOTLK/Cataclysm systems.

No. It wouldn’t

Most do play for fun. But given the nature of mmo progression we all know we sacrifice what is fun for what is optimal more often than we should.

Then that’s a self control issue.

When that happened I already knew that if they change nothing about patchfinder in shadowlands and not changes to previous patcfinders that shadowlands is DOA.

What we’re talking about is a rep tabard that gives you rep anywhere in the expansion content when getting xp. It wouldn’t be restricted to dungeons.

Which is the way it should go. Something as generic as rep should be obtainable doing more than just dungeons and world quests. If you’re wearing / carrying their standard anyway.
