Trade chat now actually shows trade for me, not preachers politics and lewdness.

I don’t care either way, but I think players that want /spit and other so-called harmful emotes removed from game would like to continue using and seeing other emotes.

The spit emote was only removed on the TBC PTR. That’s it.

do pepole do EMOT on u that is mena ? tell me then , i gonna slap on then !

Indeed.

It was an extreme reaction from Blizzard to Asmongold being a bit of a jerk and telling people to /spit on “boosties” (paying customers who just want to have fun playing TBC content). The whole situation is a bit hilarious because Asmongold is attacking his own community who were making fun of Limit Max for buying a boost in FFXIV, based on the premise that “boost = bad”.
