But I haven’t played since Sunwell. Is it possible to copy or clone my main to a Classic Cata server? I have an 85 rogue who is my main, but I haven’t touched him since 2010. I only came back to WoW because of SoD which I love, but would love to experience Cata with my rogue main if possible. Is there a way to do this or would I have to start from scratch?
You have to start from scratch but its quick to level especially now with the xp buff going on

Depending on how completionist you want to be, getting to Cata stuff won’t take as long as you think it might.

I just returned to WoW about 3 months ago and wished I would have just went straight to cataclysm instead of retail. People are toxic and unhelpful on retail. I’ve been playing Cara for a few days ago and just bought the level 80 boost for $60 to shave some time off and catch up. It’s up to you but I suggest doing that so you can fly. Running around everywhere with no mount from level 1-20 sucks

Yeah, I’m not playing retail because my laptop is a few years old and can’t handle it, but it handles old games pretty well. Thanks for all the advice.
Sorry but your 85 main is now like level 25 due to the squish that happened on retail.
