Can we delete these for Shadowlands?
No one likes them. They’re ugly, can’t be transmogged into anything, can’t be mogged to artifacts… And they interrupt spell casting if you right click a target
They’re terrible, please delete
Instead, let Mages auto-attack with wands while casting, the way Hunters can with bows.

Staffs are just big wands, let that sink in.
Not really, you can’t use them at range
So they’re melee wands

I don’t think they’ll do this because it would put wands ahead of other weapons.
They’d have to somehow balance wands around being used throughout combat, and have other weapons balanced around not being used
You can take my wands when you pry them from my cold, metallic hands.

I like this idea a lot. I usually just auto-shot anyway, so this would let me finally play my mage again without all those spells or whatever! 
Or they can simply bring back the secondary slot every class benefited from. I really do miss having throwing weapons.

You’re right. They aren’t very useful as far as I’m aware and are just a pain for collectors getting all of their appearances.
