Wand not working after update

Wand works on WoW Classic until the target is very close and then it auto switches to my melee weapon on my Mage. 100% repeatable.

The wand thing is because the patch enabled auto switch between shoot and attack without telling anyone… fix it: Escape → Options → Combat, scroll to bottom, uncheck Auto Attack/Auto Shot The talent tree… yeah, seems hosed. The neat thing is that if you level, you can spend a point in things even though it doesn’t appear possible based on what it’s showing. Guessing the interface is just hosed as stuff I’ve invested in appear to still be present? Can’t wait to see in what creative manner they…

Agreed! I’m having the same problem, why does blizzard insist on fixing stuff that isn’t broken?

Esc options Combat has no such Auto attack option for me.
What am I missing?
