Bring back walking in WoW. Every expansion should have a period where you have to walk everywhere. Pathfinder 1.0 should be to get to where you can use a mount and 2.0 for flying.

They should add a stamina wheel to running, once you’re out you have to either RP walk or rest back at your hearthstone location before you can run again. It’d make Vulpera’s racial super useful!

Why stop there? You should have to stealth-crawl through any area with mobs or get swarmed immediately by giant groups.
Stealth-crawl moves at .2 of walk speed btw

Er, as much as I enjoy it. I’ll say classic is there for that. It would not be good to do so in retail.

Ooh and if you try to run away you get a new debuff, broken legs! you now have to drag yourself to the nearest capital and have hospital treatment for 2 irl weeks.

Only role players should have to walk. Everyone else should just be able to add items to their inventory and have flyhacks. I’m sick of being hindered because some people still want to earn their gear like this is 2005.

Jokes aside, I think it’d be interesting if Blizzard released a hardcore server. It could have permadeath and diseases that last longer than normal it could have a greater emphasis on crafted gear and pvp. Could be a cool little side server.

Hmm OP is not buried yet after 25 minutes? Letting me down GD. 
We should only be allowed to stand still for 3/4 of the expansion. And there would be only ine daily quest where you have to defeat a wave of elites using only a dagger. After you reach exalted you would be allowed to crawl on your belly for the remainder of the expansion.
You kids are spoiled with your flying and teleports and lock closets. In my day you had to walk from quest to quest while horde ripped you apart.

Or you could just not use your own mount.
I do enough walking when i get Dire Maul in LFD.
They would have to make leveling quick like D3. Otherwise HC would lead to a lot of rage quitting. Besides just like D3 once wow goes to console permadeath can be cheated. HC isn’t HC anymore if console players can just power off before the data is saved. Kind of sad IMO.
