You aren’t dying fast because someone is more OP class then you.
It’s happening because blizzard caved to the elitists and removed gear scaling. This is OLD WoW now, the old days when you can be One shotted by some Neckbeard who has better gear then you.
It’s not gear scaling. It’s a complete lack of balance for pvp. Blizzard didn’t care. SL pvp is a hot mess they get to patch for many weeks to come. BFA pvp looked better than this.
First off, this just isn’t true. People wanted it removed because the numbers and the values on there screen were wrong and players felt lied too. This is pvp. MoP, Cata, WotlK all had similar BG damage to SL. I am mainly talking about BGS. Your not meant to win 1v3 in BGS unless you vastly out gear your opponents. Arenas may see some issues but that’s due to come classing being a little to strong (MM hunter, Spriest, Sub Rogue). Plus we are in all blue gear at the moment, our vers isn’t even touching 20% yet. So just relax and get good.
Seriously? Regardless about how you feel, the reason players are getting hit so hard is because PvP scaling was removed.
Whatever. I could care less.
We are going to face major problems soon though. Especially for more casual PvP players. The gear imbalance will be very noticeable now that there is no BG Conquest, no PvP stats, no PvP scaling, and no solo-queue (or random BG matchmaking).
Blizzard will be forced to find a solution, and my guess is that PvP scaling will return because it’s the easiest solution - even though it’s the worse choice. It was added for a reason. They haven’t fixed the underlying problem. In fact, they made it worse.
While, I’m sure a lot of people appreciate your well-thought out response, perhaps you should spend more energy understanding the problem, and suggesting solutions. There are some really good solutions to address the problem that don’t include adding PvP scaling back into the game, and some of those solutions would be extremely good for PvP community as a whole.
