There’s no reason to think you won’t. Even Activision would give us two total years of this.
Gaap is right. The best thing to do is just prepare for TBC for those interested in it by leveling alts, etc.
I’m older and wiser and that, I don’t fall for BS.
Blizzard no longer possesses the ability to do things right, much like Bioware.
I am not some fool that will ever pay them money for a new game again.
They’re done.
@Glaive
I think he was just saying that we’ll have a minimum total of 2 years for classic which is possible.
OK got you
Sad though, when you think about it.
I think they’ll just… descend into being an Asian phone game company over these next years.
Do you really think that 90% of the Classic playerbase does not play Retail?
My guess is that the number of people playing Classic who come from Retail and/or also play Retail greatly outnumber those who didn’t/don’t.
Mary, I respect you.
But you and I come from very different (gaming) worlds.
Literally no-one whom I know plays retail, nor has in years.
I understand and respect that may be different for you and your circle.
But I don’t know even one person who plays modern wow.
Same, I don’t know anyone who plays modern wow. I have a few friends that still play classic, but most of them quit and are waiting for TBC.
The problem isnt that people from classic wont buy the expansion. Other people might not buy the xpac or will stop playing it entirely in order to play the game when it was quite frankly at its best.
Still though, something I mentioned earlier that you didn’t address…
Shadowlands is expected to be released 2020. Expectations for TBC classic release are fall of 2021. These wouldn’t have any conflicting issues in terms of release dates, so why even mention Shadowlands?
I have to agree… the content in the expac will be destroyed in a matter of weeks… if not sooner… not sure why people would think that TBC couldn’t come out an entire year later?
