My launcher is not updating Wow. All it says in grey lettering is waiting on another download. When I click the Download icon in the download manager, it’s the only download in queue. I tried restarting the app and nothing.

Yeah, now it’s stuck on initializing (780 bytes) for 10 minutes now. This boss is hard. Too many phases.

This error is often related to the Battle.net Desktop app being unable to act due to corrupted data or anti-virus blocking it. I recommend the following steps:

Disable background software to help rule out a third-party conflict following the steps Here. Instead of restarting the PC move to step 2 to save time:

Shut down the PC. Power Cycle the home network’s modem and router to refresh the connection to all network devices and the Internet Service Provider. Steps to do this can be found Here. Once the network is back online turn back on the PC.

If you utilize any third-party anti-virus software, try temporarily disabling it or setting it up to exclude the Battle.net Desktop app folder and game from all scans.
Retest.
If the issue continues, you may wish to try temporarily on a mobile cellular connection or VPN to see if they help.

I closed many background services and it just worked. Thank you. Sadly, I don’t know which was the culprit so I don’t really have anything to share that might help anyone. All is well.
