It doesn’t have a disgusting Azerite system, so it’s already infinity better. I will give you the benefit of the doubt because I’m sure you didn’t read but the leveling grind is actually fun in classic because you’re getting levels when I get to 120 in BFA you get rewarded with needing to grind azerite and heart of azerite.
Your statement is “grinding in BfA isn’t accountbound”
To which I responded, “what grinds in classic are account bound?”
Now you will answer with what grinds in classic are account bound. If your next statement is about “well it’s not azerite!” then I’ll just assume you don’t actually know what you’re talking about and move on with my day, cheers.
How was grinding 58-60 in Silithis fun for anyone? What was rewarding about that? These Classic comparisons are very clearly not made by people who played that game with any actual effort. Alts in classic? For most having another max level character was impressive.
Why is it that these terrible grinds are not account bound yet?
Yeah, sorry, I didn’t invent anything. His framework is specifically about making grinds account bound. And stating that Classic would fix the problem.
You can keep asking if you want to keep being wrong.
But people actually liked the content that existed below 60. It was a grind, because it took so much time to actually get there, but it was really easy to get immersed in what you were doing along the way. Leveling in 2006 felt like playing an awesome video game. Right now leveling is essentially a chore that you have to do to unlock the actual game.
Who knows how that will hold up in classic. A ton of people coming in are the pservers heroes who have been leveling vanilla characters for a decade, and they may create a more end-game focused population, but hopefully there is still some enjoyment to be had in actually leveling.
I intended to make them more feasible and fun (not account bound), there’s nothing wrong with leveling it’s just when you get to max level you reach the worst grind of all Azerite.
Perhaps a different expac would have been a better example
