The moment a Blue Post is made for Classic Era, the whole Classic Community is gonna pop off! Or be disappointed. Either way, who else is still waiting for something? Blizzard probably knows, but are keeping their mouths shut. Crossing my fingers and praying for something to pop up.

10.1 is in 3 weeks. Nobody is announcing anything that would undermine retail.
retail itself undermines itself because its so god awful.
Dragonfart could be worse expac to date. That’s saying a lot to because BFA and SL were atrociously bad.

At this point I’m just enjoying the wave that Classic Era is on. I don’t even think we can trust Blizz to create Classic +. And the population in recent weeks has shown that “fresh” era servers are not even a necessity. There’s lots of pseudo progression happening in dungeons and the early raids.
They don’t care. The silence is speaking loud and clear

I want to see news of some fresh classic servers, i unsubbed yesterday because I’ve paid for atleast 4+ months of barely playing, logging on to mess around on WOTLK alts with heirlooms to get bored and log off. I want classic, fresh servers with slow progression! Who’s with me?!

Whatever the case is this isn’t pre-Activision Blizzard anymore and hasn’t been for most of the games lifespan. Which is why, on the subject of retail, that everything has sucked since Arthas went on farm status, if not a little before. They don’t communicate at that level anymore and why would they? WoW isnt that big a deal anymore, retail is a joke - it only gets “worse” for Classic fans. Especially for those who think they are owed something, which they aren’t.
You’ll see fresh one day. Its just not right now.
Good news though, there are Classic Era servers open right now hosting the same exact game you’re “waiting” for. Its a crude facsimile of Vanilla in some ways but since Vanilla is the undisputed god king of MMOs even an officially endorsed rough interpretation/implementation of it is better than most other games, especially retail WoW and Wrath (not so) Classic. Yes, they’ve run through all their phases but that hardly matters if your goal is to play “old WoW”.
