Waited 3 hours for a healer

Do event instead, theres a mount thats a 1% drop chance, the healers are doing that instead and its all day for the next 2 weeks.

I tried for 2 hours to get people to do 2s but thats almost impossible now too. So YAY for the ā€œnew and improvedā€ system.

Guess Im sitting this season out.

They canā€™t do that. Mythic-0 dungeons at expansion launch would be a bloodbath for randomly assembled queue groups.

And they canā€™t make M0 queuable NOW, and then take the queue away at the start of the next expansion. You KNOW how people would react to that.

Yeah. Iā€™m in group 2 of your list. If I had to be in group 3, Iā€™d probably quit instead lol.

Iā€™m speaking from personal experience. On my resto druid, Iā€™m not healing pugs, Iā€™m healing friends and guildies. People who fall into 1 and 2 tend to play with their friends, as I suggested. People who fall into group 3 have to wait since, like I said, pugs are rather toxic to healers. Until most people arenā€™t rude to healers, most wonā€™t deal with pugs. Time for some of those dps to give healing a try and see why group 3 struggles to get and keep healers.

It is a good idea. Healing becomes more relevant, dps less so for key levels.

I never pug 20ā€™s, if i want to do harder content i just wait for my friends to log on.

Ive tried to pug higher keys and the return on time invested is just ridiculousā€¦at that level it only takes 1 person to screw up and leave for you to waste 40 min+ in a pug environment.

11-15ā€™s is where Iā€™m staying now, the content is easy enough to heal through even if everyone just ignores mechanics.

I know at the start of this expansion they had an overabundance of healers and I was told a lot to go dps. :person_shrugging:

Now I havenā€™t healed in such a while that Iā€™d only be comfortable healing lower keys :joy:

Why a lot of people returning to healing or who just heal in general may not want to do high tier mythic plus? ā€¦ Because people get very toxic with high keys and canā€™t simply take a mild-set back. I mean I get it ā€“ Itā€™s hard to earn, requires time etc - But if it wasnā€™t an intended mistake / wipe, then thereā€™s no need to belittle and diminish someone so vehemently & be so vile to them.

The joys of pugging means you can brick keys and go next without anyone important complaining. Kinda feel obligated to stay if with friends/people in guild.

Hereā€™s the problem (from my holy priest POV):

1.) DPS roles are exponentially easier to play in M+ dungeons (I know, I also play mage, rogue, ret palley, and shadow priest in M+, all above 2700 in S1)
2. Because of the above, when a healer doesnā€™t perform as well as the rest of the group, heā€™s verbally attacked (in PUGs), instantly called trash, told to kill himself, etc. This has all happened to me, and virtually every other healer I know.
3. Healing is not very fun in S2. Iā€™m not sure exactly why yet, but itā€™s just a lot of stress and anxiety. The fun is dead. Of course this seems to be dependent on the group to an extent however.
4. There is no way to really compete or comparatively measure yourself against anyone else. DPS have damage meters, Tank controls everything about the run. Healer? They just try to fix everyone elseā€™s bad play decisions while trying to play perfectly himself, and when he fails, whereā€™s the healer to fix the healerā€™s mistakes? Then the wipe happens (usually with everyoneā€™s elseā€™s defensive cooldowns not even used) and the healer gets blamed. So who would want to put themselves into that situation? This is why less healers PUG now.

Healing is fun in S2. DPS reqs for Neltharus seem a bit high though.

Make friends with healers who will want to regularly join your groups.

Then put in a blanket healing nerf in keys, instead.

The rest of us are so damn tired of the entire game revolving around your stupid keys.

so people in mythic raids can cut fights down to three healers instead? lol.

How many Mythic Vault fights were 3-healed? Before the 10.1 healing changes.

They had the same adjustment pre-raid.

40% if memory serves.

I am just basing this on your profile right now:

Your IO is low for week 3 and you only have IO as DPS, none as tank. You also have no season 1 IO. Now maybe you just hit 70, or maybe you arenā€™t too interested in mythics. Your ilvl is also extremely low. You can get 411 with just heroic gear and whelpling/flight stones - and you are 406.

What this tells others is that you are fresh to mythics and have no clue what you are doing as a tank. People are trying to climb, not have to carry.

If I was a healer and saw your run, I would pass too (no offense, just giving you the reasoning I would pass).
