Either way, this is quite stupid. Give back the 10-man version and 25-man versions. It is bad enough gold farming is a complete joke this expansion, making it Flex also means very little ways to farm for transmog as well as you have very little that will drop, especially off a few bosses.

They added Firelands timewalking with this patch which is why the change.

Many players are happy with the decision, it helps to streamline and simplify things that are needlessly complicated. Flex also gives players an option to go back, relevel characters, and form groups fitting to their size and redo the old raids - almost like a progressive twink.
Overall it was a pretty good design decision.

And there was nothing complicated about the old raids in the first place before they made them into Flexible Raid sizes.

It’s not. Every since Ulduar was made a TW raid, it has been a flex raid. That’s just how the raid ID tech works.

Also, from what I understand, you can now do this on both Normal and Heroic on the same character in the same week. Meaning that you can get 2 chances per toon for each mount.
That sounds like some decent gold.
