There’s a difference here. For players who burn through content like an addict, they expect an endless supply—often because they were never told “no” as kids and now feel entitled to have as much content as they want. If all the expansion content were released at once, people like you would still be back in two weeks complaining that there’s not enough to do, and you’d either complain or unsubscribe, calling the expansion bad.
What you don’t seem to understand is that creating a never-ending amount of content would mean developers could never rest or spend time with their families. They’d be stuck in a cycle of endlessly creating something for the “no-lifers,” which is just unreasonable. Plus, it could seriously harm people who don’t understand the need to take breaks—getting off the computer to eat, move, shower, and take care of their health. Believe me, I understand that there are people who don’t care about others, not even their own family, like this person who said:
But I do care. Addiction is a real issue, and people have lost loved ones and friends because of it. Replies like that only confirm how much the community has changed and how spoiled a lot of people were as kids.

You’re sitting here saying that people need to be told no and to not enable problems, but I bet you’re also all for enabling bums to be drug addicts in cities.
And we’re not asking for the devs to never go home, we’re asking for the devs to turn on M+ within a reasonable amount of time, not almost a month after the expansion launches. The content is already developed.

they are unrewarding, but we do have rpg elements - they just need to improve it - ppl just dont even bother to try out, if they could pay a 80 boost rn they would do it
and i bet that they would pay gear boost just to log in raid night tuesdays and then log off, honestly this type of player shouldn’t be taken seriously in an mmorpg
A few lvls left for my 5th lvl 80 then a couple more to go. No complaints here.
Yeah well I have 3 classes that are playable without putting me to sleep. One is 80 and ready for mythics, one is 70, one is like 55 'cause I rerolled to panda.
It won’t take me more than a few days to get them all to 80 and mythic ready.
I still have 2 weeks to go before mythics open up. It’s ridiculous.
Nope. M0 drops almost the same ilevel as Normal raid on a lower track. They don’t want people walking into Normal raid at or above the ilevel of the Normal raid to roflstomp it any more than they already will.

I believe the first week was so that those who didn’t get EA could get to max level, Only thing I can think of for the next week would be so that maybe some could make Earthen and level them? Only thing I can think of.
You consider it disastrous to not need to immediately hit the treadmill running so you can actually, y’know, enjoy the launch a bit?

I mean, all tiers of the delves open, right? You could do that, get your sweet void plane, thing. I guess fly it around abit, THEN log out?
Only up to tier 3, think higher is needed for that.
Like, right now’s the perfect time for people to get familiar with the different delves and chill a bit, gear before season, run up profs, etc. Guarantee if Blizzard just put resets and season start on week 1 there’d be an absolute uproar.

It really wasn’t, but okay. I’ve seen disastrous launches, and TWW’s is the smoothest we’ve ever gotten.
That said, 2 weeks plus ANOTHER week before M+ releases is ridiculously stupid.

They get uncomfortable if daddy Blizz isn’t setting their parental controls for them.
hmm so you actually leveled all alts, professions , completed side quests and all delves , got renown to level ten and geared everyone to 580? you are too good man what is the trick to teach me ?
Main is 580. Renown is gated. Professions are maxed… in about 4 or 5 houra of in game play.
So… yes… i did those things. Playing an alt because there isnt available content this soon after a release is absurd.
