Did you come to the forums hoping for understanding? Only people here would defend Blizzard even if they punched their moms in the face.
The expansion is fairly light on content outside of gear acquisition. It will get stale for a lot of people far quicker than others.

Not excusing the lack of anything coming, but why are you acting like you didn’t know? We’ve literally known all week that all we’re getting tomorrow is Earthen and then the actual content is coming on the 10th

The 2 week period is to give people enough time to catch up.

i honestly dont understand people that play a game so much they dont bother to EVER interact with the forums or check on ANYTHING AT ALL related to the game and then rush to the forums surprised pikachu face when something thats ALREADY BEEN KNOWN suddenly is a surprise to them. like youre telling me you dont have 5 minutes to spare to check something on google?

No, we just have lives outside of the game—work, family, kids—and we’re in no rush to speed through the experience. The only people who feel the need to rush are those who don’t have much going on in real life, giving them lots of free time, or those who took a bunch of PTO to binge as much as they could as quickly as possible. Additionally, a small group of people who stream WoW as their job might feel pressured to progress quickly. However, unless someone is treating it like a race and consuming content like a cake addict in a bakery, that’s a personal issue,

This game is increasingly designed around instance simulation. The leveling and open world are just vestiges kept alive for appearances.
Crafting is probably the last RPG aspect still in the game.
Nobody is going anywhere, you think that your cries are being heard. Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t. To complain that there is nothing to do is just stupid.
There are tons of things to do, tons of quests, unlock your Earthen, make an Earthen alt, keep on delving along, do some PvP, help friends level or run friends or guildies alts to help them level.
It’s crazy how people want everything NOW. Get over yourselves and enjoy what Blizz has done and thats given us a really good expansion for a change.
There is no way I am the only one on the forums who is having a complete blast play TWW.

I’ve never had less excitement for an expansion than TWW.
First EA dividing the players at launch, super long delays until anything worthwhile is released, and tbh most of retail content is just bad, I’ve found myself playing other games even before hitting 80 (which I finally got around to about an hour ago).
Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not sure I’ll make it past a month into season 1.

And what stops you from playing the game at your desired pace even if all the expansion content were immediately accessible?

That’s the annoying bit, I can’t bring myself to start any story games right now because I will likely not be able to finish them before raid and M0 unlocks, unfortunately, the vast majority of CRPGs are storydriven, so, I’m kinda stuck in a situation where I don’t really have games to play but I also don’t have things to do in WoW. =/
