No Dwarf Shaman or Undead Paladins? I thought they were being added in Phase 8.
Nope. This is the last phase of sod. Onto mop we go this summer
If anything that’s more probably like phase 9 content. Phase 8 stuff they’ve been working on for a while.
I hope they get pressured into release them later on at least. =)
Im honestly not sure I agree, I mean if they were gonna give it to us. Why would they not do it at this perfect moment where we have a literal raid tier dedicated to Pallys, Scarlet Crusade and Ashbringer? If it doesnt come out this phase I have no hope it comes out later. And theres still a bit of a debate on whether we have more raid content after this phase but I suppose we will see.
Why?
A couple of SoD YouTubers said they were coming and showed two new NPCs in the Undead and Dwarf starting zones who’s dialogue referenced Paladin/Shaman.
This rumor never got out of reddit.

Wait until the 8th. Never a real stated no or yes. Both NPC’s on the PTR are specific to each Race/Class with conversation as such. I feel they will come as it would be one of the final things that could be done to give players a choice of Horde or Alliance, instead of just going Alliance due to their overall strength over Horde due to Paladin abilities. Adding them would then give players/guilds the option to pick the side they want as both sides would have all clases.
To clarify, this is the last FULL phase of SoD, whatever that means.

We could say “Phase 8 is the final phase” and all of those hundreds of people you mention who are saying “well i’d start now but it’s about to end” would just hear “its over” and then they’d never think about it again. The reality is, we think there are many many many months of content in SoD left and trying to put a pin on a definite end date really just harms the experience of people that could still have months if not years of fun with the content that already exists and is coming.
