Wait, so mages have 2 invisibility spells now?

I reported this a few times as a bug in beta, but it came to live. Mages now have normal Invisibility on a 5 min CD and Greater Invisibility (if such talent is chosen) on a 2 min CD.

Isn’t that a bit too OP for a class?

Edit:

Stop saying Greater Invisibility replaces normal Invisibility. That’s the whole point of my thread: GREATER INVISIBILITY NO LONGER REPLACES NORMAL INVISIBILITY, you can use BOTH variants as if they were two different spells.

There are several ophthalmologists out there if you need a pair of glasses. In any case, this isn’t the right thread to post your eyesight issues.

Oh, I thought you were having trouble seeing the mages? Maybe get your eyes checked

mage invis isn’t problematic at all. It’s only an opener and doesn’t work well used again.

Not at all. My thread is about a class having two invisibility spells on a relatively short cooldown.

So if you can see them, what’s the issue?

My two main concerns is that now they can disengage from combat much easier compared to the rest of classes, and gives them an unprecedented advantage in PVP.

I see no problem with this as greater overrides normal.

It doesn’t.

You can use Greater, come out of invisibility, and right after that use normal.

Well if that’s the case, it wouldn’t help in a fight for your life much, normal invisibility doesn’t help at all.

How does this make sense? It works exactly the same as Greater, the latter only benefits from a shorter cooldown.

To a lesser degree they would still see you.

While invisibility is active? No, not at all.

Tell me this since I am not in the game now til Tuesday ,do they time together or separate?

Do you mean if they share the CD?

They’re both available on different cooldowns.

Like literally right now on my mage alt, I use Greater Invisibility, which procs its 2 min CD. During or at the end of this Greater Invisibility, I can use normal invisibility, activating its 5 min CD. Viceversa as well.

They act like two different completely independent spells from the other.

Bruh, you play hunter how can you conplain about mage invisibility, just mark them lmao
