I understand (and agree with) getting mad about 1 button rota because of the implications on Blizzard’s game design and Ion doubling down on the way he makes the game, but people are actually mad that other people with disabilities or who maybe just want to have a beer and vibe with their homies can play the game?
Sheesh. I thought we played this game to have fun. If some random is doing a 1 button rota in LFR, that does not in any way impact the enjoyment of playing the game for AOTC or M+ or whatever other content exists.
But you can intentionally brick keys without the one button rotation.
Hell it’ll actually be harder to brick keys with one button mode because you’ll be doing more damage just hitting the button than you would by just doing nothing.
I think it would be interesting to list a key group as “One Button Blasters Only!” (as a counterpart to big pumpers only or w/e brainrot thing they say these days) and see how the run goes
No! I shall specifically use my 1 button to brick their keys! All the keys! Every time! They will never know that it’s me! Every pug, they will wonder. They will fear. And the terror will keep them awake at night!
Mostly just amused seeing the same people that have been flaming others for requesting steady flight be accessible at the same time that skyriding is accessible turning around and flaming people for being against accessibility in the case of 1br.
Almost seems like they have no consistent principle other than “I want to attack people” to me.
I’m fine with the 1 button system in principle (if a bot can play my spec better than me, it should).
What really bothers me is when I go to Nightfall, and there’s so much lag that it’s just not worth trying to do anything but hit an ability with zero cost or CD. What the 1 button rotation tells me is that Nightfall could be the future of “casual content”, lagfests for which the 1 button rotation acts as a bandaid over a gaping wound.
