WAGGLE Megalounge and Thread (Part 8)

Hope sustains organics during periods of difficulty.

We . . . admire the concept.

Aluriel Starfall sturms a somber tune while accompanying it with a haunting, wordless lament of pain and loss

When finished, she bows her head in sorrow, and whispers; “Farewell Kelwor, skilled gnome monk, and loyal friend. May Garl Glittergold cherish your presence in his hall”

:sleepy:

*edited because my brain after 8.5 hours of DnD apparently spells “strums” as “sturms”.

Gnome down ?
If a DnD character dies on an adventure can they be used for other campaigns/ adventures?

Error, copying code is insufficient. Direct personality dissemination required

Yeah, my friend lost his gnome monk.

It would depend on the DM.

Usually in my group, when a character dies, and the party has no means to resurrect them, the DM will give them an NPC to run, or that player will help the DM run enemies in combats for the rest of the session so they aren’t bored. Then they roll up a new character between sessions, and the DM will work that character into the next session.

I was reminded of Sturm Brightblade from the Dragonlance series.

I have an extremely shallow literary memory bank from which to pull references. This is not registering in my my napkin-sized neural net.

LOL, I just realized I misspelled strums in that first post!

I  the Chronicles and the Legends trilogy.

If you ever find yourself in need of a good fantasy series to read, I would really recommend the Dragonlance chronicles (Dragons of Autumn Twilight, Dragons of Winter Night, and Dragons of Spring Dawning) and the Legends trilogy (Time of the Twins, Test of the Twins, and War of the Twins). Semi-young adultish, but still very good.

The are a LOT of Dragonlance novels, but those two trilogies are the best of the lot, imho.

What little reading I do, I prefer reading non-fiction, but thank you for the recommendation. I trust it’s an awesome one!
