I will say the power and help of a local meteorologist when I’d get weather briefings live over the phone was amazing. They knew all the what could happen because of their understanding of theory and interactions between the climate and topography, but sometimes weather is like jazz. you kinda know the key it’s in, and know how it can change, but small modulations can really make the song morph in a short period of time.
