NOBODY WINS when snoreball is played.
Chiefs won, it was another super close game determined by a field goal. So it did go as hoped. Chargers defense though was shredding through us. Mahomes took several hard hits and a couple more sacks than expected.

Don’t worry. It took me decades to get into mainstream sports other than NHL, and I only liked that because I played lots of roller hockey & roller derby as a kiddo. Otherwise all sports were snoreball like Bread mentions.

i liked playing them, i was center in high school, only jv - but they called me up for one or two games to varsity. i loved playing that position and watching everything, but i was pretty small…
but watching it? i like hanging out with people i like and if they’re watching and enjoying it, I can hang. but solo enjoyment? not my jazz.

I 100% agree with you. Like Shaelys has accomplished today - I usually have the game on in the background while smoking meat or meal prepping for the week. Sometimes the neighbors will pop over to watch a half of the game and then I’ll sit down. But unless there’s someone there with me to watch, I only catch the last quarter all the way through. Tonight hubby was home so I sat down and yelled at the tv a lot. The doggos welfare checked me and brought squeaky toys to console my petulant mood.

The injuries we took made some of the games understandable, but we should be getting some core players back in the arsenal. I’ve really admired the adaptability they’ve shown to keep pulling wins off. But holy moly, my blood pressure.
