I agree, but if he paved the way for Ozzy!
Ozzy was definitely catalytic for metal
(ironically one of my favorites of his is Changes)
Brian Johnson completely changed AC/DC and brought them more success
I was waiting for someone to post Joan!
I really like the Budgie one
The guitarist, John Thomas, had an amazing sound.

I like the Judas Priest/Halford version of Diamonds & Rust.
Dude, Iām so tickled right now by this mashup reference
Have you seen the Santa Barbara concert videos where Joni Mitchell is playing with freaking Jack Pastorius and Pat Metheny? (I ask because you seem to be a connoisseur of many types of music)
I havenāt, I will have a look.
Iām a sort of guy that likes almost everything. My fav is old rock, hair bands and stuff from the Head Bangers Ball. I was into just about all music, except some real old country. Probably because I was tortured with it as a kid. I like Celtic Irish music, country from the 70-80s and until now. I listen to just about everything.
Thatās awesome! Lol unfortunately Iām outta likes
Well they said they making donuts so i ask what kind ?

I love CCR and this one is a favorite of mine. For some reasonā¦ I have always thought of my uncle, WO Jonathan Ross Vars, whenever I hear this song. Memories of Jon are irrevocably woven around the music and the lyrics of this song for me.
The video resonates too. Could be places in Montana/Coloradoā¦ or anywhereā¦
The draft board told Jon his draft number was high enough he wouldnāt be called.
After college he thought it was his duty, as a child of privilege, to serve.
He was a 3 time volunteer.
- He volunteered for the Army because he wanted to fly a helicopter.
- He volunteered for Vietnam.
- He volunteered to fly medevac because he heard they were having trouble finding pilots to fly the missions and he didnāt want to fly slicks or a gunship in a war he didnāt believe in.
July of 1969 during a hover extraction, a round came over the top of the chicken plate and hit him in the throat. He bled out on the flight back even though his crew tried to help him.
His best friend was at my Grandparentās house and they were listening to a tape recording from Jon talking about his DEROS date when the casualty officers came to the door.
R.I.P. Jon you did your duty.
Weāre only here for a short time. Be nice to each other and love the ones you hold dear.
Edit: Got the month wrong.
