I had one of those swamp coolers that pumped water over cardboard and had electric fans, I eventually got rid of it because I thought it was dangerous.
To be fair, your proposal sounds cool* af, to use the parlance of our time, and I posses neither the intelligence to understand it nor the logical fortitude to know how to operate it without killing myself.
*pun intended.

Those work better than you’d think, but you have to be really careful about the condition of the equipment. I’m not sure they fail gracefully.

I no longer improvise with either electricity or pyrotechnics, having exhausted my lifetime supply of luck with both.

Swamp coolers are useless in wet heat. You would first have to get a dehumidifier and suck the moisture out then add it back in with a swamp cooler. Too much work when you can just add a window unit.
All this talk of heat and I’m just sitting here in Canada like “Just get out of direct sunlight, problem solved!”.
I just want to add to this because apparently it’s forever. Ok I’m done. 
By the way Sam Carter that name reminds me of Samantha Carter on Stargate SG-1. Such a good show back then.

I’m getting an urge to play Overwatch again, but like… I wanna play OW and not OW2.
For as much as that community got crap(and probably well earned for 90% of it), the people who played late on weekends in quick play classic were always pretty chill. I’d have a few drinks and start collecting battle net friends.

blizzard cares not for your wants. you will play overwatch 2 and LIKE IT.
Honestly at this point if they just gave me end of life Overwatch 1 back as a mode, I’d probably be willing to put up with them saying “BUY THE BATTLE PASS!” whenever I boot it up.
I wouldn’t buy it, but they can ask me all they want if they just give me my Overwatch back.
