just did my first follower dungeon, farming for a smithing pattern in Neltharus and figured iād give this game mode a try. pretty cute. the followers emote back to you, and they seem to do things dynamically. pulled a bunch with the first boss (Forgemaster Gorek, non-linear dungeon so i used BS key to skip the mammoth and Chargath), and the mage NPC cast timewarp, kind of an odd time, but they used it.
oh cool! I left the dungeon after murdering that one boss, left the instance group, reset instances, re-entered Neltharus, and now I have a slightly different follower group. With a shaman instead of a dwarf mage.

woahā¦i still have my mage food from the other dungeonā¦i wonder if this is a way i can get it and have it persist when i level the NPC follower group - thatās cool

I like the idea of follower dungeons, it just felt like as a DPS I had to do all the work, I think I wanted followers who could be ābeefed upā to do much more damage.

i just had the hunter NPC try and use jumper cables to brez the shaman that got murdered when i pulled 2 packs with boss - Iām just messing around in ret and can easily solo this dungeon. I agree with you on their dps.
in the 21 second boss fight, i did 10x the next dps, which interestingly was the prot pally follower, and who did more than double the other 2 dps combined. so, yeah, 100% agree that thereās an odd dps issue with the actual DPS npcs here

i did a follower dungeon. needs more draenei i can train mobs into. dat sweet sweet draenei booty.
im wanting that alvin the anvil smithing plan that can drop off the forgemaster boss in Neltharus, but so far, no joy. And Iām noticing that none of these followers are Draeneiā¦
oh and they also did not /comfort me when i /cry or /beg. super awkward in here right now.
