Vulpra should be alliance

Alliance is missing a cutesy race while the Horde is missing gnomes. Give horde Mechagnomes and alliance the Vulpra.

Maybe the alliance shouldn’t have sent out purge squads against them

We did? Well it was probably just Nzoth messing with our head

I dunno.
I’m pretty sure the Vulpera don’t want to join up with the Alliance after the Alliance literally burned their caravans and likely THEM inside said caravans.

I could be wrong though.
Maybe people these days like being set on fire. IDK

I would vote in favour of removing mechagnomes, in return giving us sethrak.

if the Vulpera = Goblin
then Sethrak should be = worgen.

But no we get trash gnomes.

Setherak would have been awesome as Alliance, however, making them playable at this point would be very strange, as the story did not go that way.

When we first saw Setherak introduced AND with a Heart of Azeroth animation, I’m sure many of us assumed the story would be the ol’ “Vulpera and Setherak are at war and Horde/Alliance pick one side to help out.”
Which didn’t happen.
So, Alliance getting Setherak now is highly unlikely.

I agree, and would gladly trade Vulps for Mechagnomes, metal diapers and all.

And let’s not pretend the writing about the Alliance death squads couldn’t have just as easily been Horde. The story is purposefully done in a cut and paste method to fit whatever narrative Activision thinks will bring in more money. This time around they figured they’d get more money out of Alliance players faction change and server transfering.

I mean.
Let’s be real tho.
Alliance are not good at making Allies.
At all.
Even before the Vulpera thing, I can not think of many races that would want to/be welcome to join the Alliance.
Alliance do not seem to be very tolerant at all.
Meanwhile, I can list at least 5 races that would want to/be more than welcome to join the Horde.

I dunno, it seems pretty obvious that the Tauren, especially Baine, want to join the Alliance :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d rather die

“but, the story!” :smirk:

Oh if I was working at blizzard, april 1st TB would have been an alliance town for the day and all tauren would have logged in as alliance :stuck_out_tongue:

All things considered, the Vulpera are still on the Horde questing island. We literally help them from start to finish. The entire story would have to be rewritten prior to launch to remove that as the story is (per Horde races) the underdog being given aid to help defeat the oppressors, which in this case were the Sethrak.

The story for Vulpera joining the Horde was there from the start of the expansion. They weren’t going to change the entire questing area for the Alliance to get them.

Anyway, Sethrak definitely would’ve been better going Alliance, but they were also a race that the Horde aided. So at this point, the introduction of Mechagnomes was obvious for the Alliance side.

What WOULD have been nice, however, is Gilgoblin/Ankoan instead. They have a reputation, they have the models, and there was a lot of interest in Jinyu so Jinyu/Ankoan made sense going Alliance. There was a reason there, built up in this expansion, and yet…they once again went down the route of a neutral race choosing a side.

Ah well, I’m sitting here still advocating for the removal of factions and I’ll have one of every race regardless, so it isn’t affecting me.

Tbh I don’t think baine wants to join the alliance, but he DOES want to maintain friendly relations with his friend, anduin, as the average tauren would like to have, just cause you’re friends with someone from the opposite faction doesn’t mean you wanna join, I mean take a look at that one human who was friends with Vol’jin, he actually attended his funeral too, but out of sight of the horde.

Story?
The Story is, the Tauren were almost wiped out to extinction while the Night Elves just sat there in their trees, watching as the horrible creatures known as Centaur, spawned by the son of their Beloved Cenarius, slaughtered these rather peaceful creatures with no intent on helping.
So.
No.
I wouldn’t ever want to join up with the Alliance, that have the Night elves, the ones that just sat there as almost all the Tauren were slaughtered.
I also wouldn’t want to join up with them even if the Night Elves were not involved, as the Alliance seem very not tolerant of other races are jump straight towards “get 'em, boys.”
Which is still the story

Vulpera are fuzzy Goblins. They care more about “doing business” than they care about the safety of either their own people or anyone else. They definitely belong on the Horde.

Nah that was mostly me; been making a fortune off of all that fur!
You know how many it takes to make a decent coat, including matching gloves and hat?
I don’t always troll the forums; sometimes I actually go out and do stuff in the game!
