Wait, wait, wait…they remembered Ji AND he gets some imput!?
…What a time to be alive.

I said it in the other thread, but it seems like Baine’s specific role on the council is diplomatic in nature, which means trying to help various peoples of the Horde, as well as welcoming new members.

Sounds like he’s worried about those damn Vulpera coming in and taking all our jobs!

I’m glad to see the recruitment didn’t involve the Alliance burning down their caravans or something. I am considering boosting my Goblin character to unlock the Vulpera.

I don’t know why Baine’s in the Throne Room of Orgrimmar. Seems like that should be Thrall’s job.
Baine’s also in Thunder Bluff and in Stormwind as a diplomat.

Damn, I would prefer an expansion about this rather than an other expansion about Sylvanas tbh.

Why is Blizzard making us stop this righteous crusade?

He will be forgotten after this chain for another half a decade.
This makes no sense.
Forces are stretched too thin, so you reject potentially new forces…
Blizzards writing at its best guys. Give them the gold metal for writing.
It would be like the allies rejecting military aid from the US for the western front after the US entered the war.

Ji is now the only named character in the Orgrimmar embassy. So at the very least every time Blizzard releases a Horde allied race Ji will be there to get the ball rolling.
I think Blizzard was trying to paint it as the Horde not having the man power to help the Vulpera when they were dealing with other issues. I’m assuming it was meant to seen as the honorable choice because accepting the Vulpera and then not helping them would be considered a dishonor.
Though realistically Baine should have tried to negotiate with Kiro to help them out in the first place instead of Kiro sticking to his guns and helping the Horde out to secure the Vulpera entering the faction.

See, were it Sylvanas or Garrosh, it wouldn’t make sense because they first and foremost would want new members of the Horde so they’d have more bodies to throw at the Alliance.
Baine would hesitate because as far as he’s concerned, recruiting new members into the Horde isn’t just gaining a pledge of troops to its cause. It’s an obligation on the Horde’s part to commit to protecting the new member race’s home and people as well, and in the wake of the faction war going into 8.3 the Horde will have its hands full with the whole N’zoth business.

I wish the Vulpera stayed out of the factions. They’re too cute to be fighting these wars. I still hate that they got attacked by the alliance.

Yeah agreed. If Thrall’s our racial leader, he needs the throne in the orc city.

I kind of wish they’d gone neutral. Oh well. That wasn’t likely after the Alliance burned their wagons.

This new council really ought to do away with Garrosh’s metal throne of spikes. It was awkward with Sylvanas and just downright incongruous now.

Baine should be permanently regulated to public service not diplomacy. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Alliances political crust considered Baine to be Anduins pet at this point.
With baine being so prominent they should replace all the spikes with nice safe friendly pillows.

Lol this shows a lack of understanding in alliances, when you accept a ally you dont get just there manpower, you get all the responsiblies and problems too. A good exsample was ww2, germany had to carry most of there allies cause they caused more problems than solved, like italy

Not really. The Vulpera live right next door to the Zandalari.
Are you saying that the Zandalari can’t defend their own lands?
Besides, the Vulpera are nomads, they don’t really have any lands.
“Horde run by Vulpera in trench coats.”
