At the time of making this post, strictly dps wise they are the worst in the game. bloodmallet have them simming the worst for every spec and they are greatly behind the 2nd to last dps race. they dont need to be the best, but when they have for say frost dks vulpera doing over 1.5k dps less then the top race there is definitely a problem

You’d only need to ask yourself if it’s worth it to bring vulperas into the hardcore scene. You’d have to talk to the Top 50er’s about this.

Aren’t vulpera like the only race in the game that has a direct-damage racial?
I don’t know if that matters outside of the top min maxxers honestly. But I have no other opinion in the matter.

That being said, as long as the difference is <5% I wouldn’t say it’s a huge issue.

I couldn’t care less about their underpowered racials tbh. I play them because i enjoy them.
Besides, they may not have the best racials as far as strength goes, but they probably have the best quality of life ones. Camp building is awesome!

Fire mage is even worse.
2653 DPS difference between troll and Vulpera. ALL other racials are within 1k.

give them a passive dps buff on top and they will be fire. If they actually buffed the bag anymore i tihnk it may create pvp problems.
Racials really dont always need to be about minmaxing, seriously. Relax and enjoy the game instead of chasing number carrots you’ll never get to eat.
Make camp is an extremely useful racial IMO. Not only does it act like a second hearthstone that you can literally bind ANYWHERE you want (as long as its outdoors), the tent while active also creates a small rested area, which means you can use it to change your talents or quick-logout in the open world.
Bag of tricks currently only has the combined damage/heal depending on what your target is, but it also says that you can change the chosen ‘trick’, and that others will be added to the bag over the course of gameplay. We may only have the one simple trick right now, but that leaves things open for blizzard to add onto that racial ability in the future. We could get tricks that do everything from debuffing enemies to making us move faster or reducing damage taken. We may get a trick that acts like a slowfall or levitate or water walking. There’s endless possibilities for it and blizzard left it intentionally open-ended so they could make changes as needed without it seeming retroactive.
Plus, we’re the cutest race in the game (sorry gnomes, you were once the queens of cuteness, but no longer!)

This is absolutely ridiculous. Why would you even care? It has literally no effect on you or anyone other than the player choosing the race.
Also its not even about min maxing its about being completely off the chart as if they have no racial at all for DPS.
Is it so much to ask to just be on the chart with the rest of the races?

I am speaking from my personal research as I play DPS. Now that I think about it the tank/healer Vulpera racials are just as useless.
