Vulpera playable class foreshadowing

in this quest you basically just choose which weapon Nisha the Vulpera will use to help fight. The choices are dual small scimitars, a one handed scythe, and a staff.

Going down the line here is what could be foreshadowed here.

Possible, due to having proficiency in all 3 of these types of weapons:

  • Warrior
  • Druid
  • Hunter
  • Monk

Classes who could be possible depending on how you classify these weapons:

  • Paladin - if you were to classify both the scimitars and scythe as swords, and the staff as a polearm
  • Shaman - if you were to classify the scythe as an axe, the scimitars as daggers, and the staff as a stave

Possibly unlikely classes due to missing one or more things without room for interpretation

  • Mage - Missing any two-handed scythe-possible proficiency
  • Death Knight - Missing staves
  • Demon Hunter - Missing any two-handed scythe-possible proficiency, and tolerance to furries
  • Priest - Missing any two-handed scythe-possible proficiency
  • Rogue - Missing two-handed proficiency
  • Warlock - Missing any two-handed scythe-possible proficiency

Or it could just be a quest and a way to add flavor to having a follower during it. We’ve had that before in other quests. And I see it from quests in other games, as well.

That’s a reach. Someone on mmo-champ datamined a Heart of Azeroth animation for Gilgoblins recently. Most likely it’ll be them instead.

I mean two of those weapons are two-handed. Rogues don’t do that. But thats literally only basing it off of this one thing.

Cata era, if I’m remembering correctly. It’s been quite a while since I’ve quested in old zones. And I believe in Mists we had a choice of followers for certain quests who had different weapons, not dissimilar to the current Naz bodyguards.

Their model uses the Cata-Goblin one, so probably not. In addition, they can’t seem to survive long without water (though that may change later on, who knows.)

Vulpera use a newer model, already have multiple animations, can wear (most) player armor, and are view-able in the dressing room.

I do like the Kelfin… but unless they re-build the model from, the ground-up, I doubt they will be playable.

There are Vulpera Mages in-game already.
