Vulpera or Goblin Mage?

Torn between these 2 races for a mage. I like the Vulpera because they do the flip thing when they jump and I love their tails (Worgen tails when?). But I hate races that don’t wear shoe mogs (which includes Trolls and Worgen  ). Goblins don’t suffer from this issue and as a bonus have less clipping issues with shoulder mogs since their ears are a lot smaller and the anchor points for their shoulders don’t skew weird on certain mogs like Vulpera do. But I don’t like how their hands are twice the size of Vulpera hands. What to do…what to do… :pensive:

They are not entirely without shoe options

Though admittedly yes so far it is mostly just some shadowlands ones that work (consequently the same ones work on troll feet, but not Tauren/Worgen)

Vulpera also have the placeable anywhere outside rested area & hearth spot, besides the 8 extra backpack slots and and really adds up essentially absorb first hit of every non-boss or very hard hitting elite npc nose for trouble.

My friend, have you seen the way we /sleep? We curl up into a little ball of floof. That alone sold me (Then they released the Totems and I never went back)

Goblins do have the passive granting bonus haste which is useful for casters and get away leaps that don’t share a GC with blink.

Goblin.

Never Vulpera.

For anything.

I like both goblins and vulpera but like someone else already said, goblin warlock and vulpera mage.

Vulpera have make camp. They can literally set a separate hearth anywhere they want. Like right outside the raid for example.

I personally say Vulpera for the racials. While not the “Best” compared to Goblins but to such degree of having a ability to absorb damage from any mobs that hit you based on your health. And having a mobile hearthstone campsite is such a godsend.

Some of the mogs are also nice but I dunno about in Cloth, I like a lot of their feet ones because it looks more like braces or reinforcements. Just boils down to personal preference really.

If you want large ears, I almost think Goblins have Vulpera beat in that department. Though… not by much.

honestly, i went goblin mage, vulpera warlock. mainly cause i figured goblins with their advanced tech would want to flaunt their smartness and use magic, and vulpera… well, they live in a desert, some of’em gotta be desperate out there, and willing to work with…‘darker powers’ in exchange for help.

Office Pam: They’re the same.

The only correct answer is Dwarf. Choose Dwarf.

But really… I think Vulpera slightly edge out gobbies but only slightly, like a miniscule amount. Pretty darn even.

Goblins have stronger racials than Vulpera in my eyes.

Vulpera just simply have worst racials in the game.

I wouldn’t say they have the worst racials. But I do agree there’s not much point to their mobile hearthstone racial for a mage. Mage can port anywhere pretty much so it’s kinda redundant for that particular class.
