Vulpera ears sticking out of helms

Is there any way to hide the ears with certain helmets, most of the transmogs are ruined and it looks tacky, does blizzard plan on fixing this anytime soon or in the future? or am i the only one bothered by this?

Welcome to my world.

When you roll Vulpera you’re signing up for fox ears.

I don’t think Blizzard doesn’t consider this a bug, or plans to “fix” it. The ears are a Vulpera feature. So is the tail. You can’t hide tails either.

I checked this out, by going to the Transmog guy on my Vulpera Rogue, and trying all 5 pages of helms that I have. Sure enough, the ears stuck through all of them.

When you create (or update, in the barber shop) a Vulpera, you can adjust the fur color (8 choices) and the ear shape and length (8 choices) but both of those are Vulpera features, and can’t be hidden.

Meanwhile, on to more important subjects — is there a helm that hides A HUGE SET OF MOOSE ANTLERS?

I know the argument has been done to death in regard to elf and troll ears, but hoo boy, I can’t even imagine how painful and uncomfortable it would be to compress ears that large against something’s skull.

Like, my normal-sized human ears feel sore if I wear headphones a little too tight.

I think it looks odd if the ears don’t show myself. I’ve had some helms bug out and not show the ears on my panda, and it just looks ‘wrong.’

Regardless, I hide most helms anyway so it’s not usually an issue. But agree with the above, I don’t think the ears were ever meant to be hidden and are part of the character [like their tail].

You’re not a zanda irl? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Don’t wear a helmet.

Why would you wear a helmet then cut holes in it so bullets and sharp objects can go through it and pierce your brain? (I wouldn’t have a helmet appearance on at all, but I just got this helmet and logged off before transmogging it)

Funny enough, it had bothered me when a gnome wears a tight helmet but they have such large ears.

Yes there is!

The Wrathbark Greathealm dropped by the first boss in Tirna Scyth hides the Antlers on HM Tauren.

use the floppy ear model if female it hides them pretty good

You’d not want that. If Blizzard covers the ear as part of the helm, it will code it as if the head was very small.

Have you seen some helms on male Draenei, where their heads look miniscule with it? I have a feeling this would be the case here too.

Imagine you are a race with massive ears, then someone hands you a shiny new helmet and you try and you try to smash them down to fit inside the helmet (Keep also in mind that some people can barely wear a headset without discomfort).

Now, are you going to tell me you’re not going to have ear holes punched into the helmet so you can comfortably wear it?

Helmets are to prevent blunt force trauma, not save you from bullets.

Imagine getting a fancy new helmet that you immediately render useless by cutting massive holes in it. Considering how big a Vulpera’s ears are, you’re basically not wearing a helmet if you make room for their ears to fit through. Not to mention with the plate helms you’d be opening yourself up to have your ears cut straight off if you take a particularly vicious blow to the head. Also, battle helms have stopped bullets in real world situations. They wouldn’t have if there were gigantic holes in them.

Trade you. Worgen are about 70/30 chance of maybe our ears will show maybe not.

Helms? My ears clip through my hair. They couldn’t even design blood elf hair to make a part for ears.
