Can’t wait to make a vulpera dh and name him blindfurry
Obviously you need to name him Furryspecced
I am so going to steal that if I can! :P Makes me even more hopeful that their flippy jump is indicative of something greater then just a different jump animation.

It works for a warrior too!
Also, it turns out "Popy" wasn't taken on both my horde servers. I can now be exactly the player the supercereals are afraid of

To that kind of players, I propose "Warhammer Online". - Nothing is cute - Nothing is lighthearted - Everybody dies gorily - There's something for any desired "dark 'n' edgy" level
Oh... the MMO was shut down in 2013? Too bad, seems not enough people wanted that level of seriousness.
But hey, there's still Age of Conan. You'll never find a lamer--I mean, serious choice of races: humans, humans, and humans.
Not to side track too much, but I remember Warhammer Online Wulfgank. It was honestly an underrated title that did a lot of cool stuff.
Loved the Warrior Priest and Dark Elf equivalent class that healed based on DPS, but then again Warhammer Online allowed you to have both a hostile and friendly target at the same time. It was cool because your friendly target got healing based on damage of abilities you did.
The Zone PvP with keeps that you could siege and capture was super cool as well and Public Quests were groundbreaking at the time compared to what WoW was doing.
I told my friends that if Warhammer Online had come out a few years sooner or around the same time that WoW launched it might have been more popular. It was honestly a good MMO from what I remember of it. --------- Anyway, sidetracking aside, Byucknah will be my Vulpera name. Its the name of my main. Either they end up being able to be Sunwalker Paladins and I race change or they cant and I end up name changing. Either way Blizzard is going to end up getting money out of me!

Oh, I honestly believe that. I didn't want to talk the game itself down, but make clear that they were and are games for those super cereal players. WoW has so much silly/funny/light stuff in it, one has to be blind for half of the game to be so adamant about wanting everything to be serious and grim.

I've already reserved a couple of names for my future Vulpera. One of them is "Taread".

To be honest, there probably is a market out there for an M rated MMO, but it would be a difficult needle to thread trying to meld the inherent seriousness of that rating with immersion breaking trade chat
when literally half the thread is one person, it says a lot about the "actual" demand for this little furry bait race.
I probably would have put "demand" in quotations instead of "actual", or maybe italicized the latter instead, but your point stands.
I represent a sizable proportion of the posts in this thread, but that's mostly because most chatter now happens on the discord server rather than here at the forums. This thread was also started many months after the BlizzCon announcement. I promise you'll see more people here tomorrow when people who aren't regular forum goers get to interact with them on live

At one point, the AoC devs had to turn down the bounciness of the female characters' chests, because it was actually interfering with spell casting.
The wailing and gnashing of teeth over this was glorious.

I was imagining a gorey kind of mature when I was writing but I guess that's another direction to go. Or you could do both at the same time.
But yeah, if the main feature of your game is an M rating as age of Conan seems to be, I could definitely see bouncy nerfing something that would cause backlash.
Been questing and I came to a realization about the Vulpera. 1. They say something to the effect of "nothing goes to waste" 2. Their wagons are decorated with Fox tails, presumably from dead Vulpera. 3. This means that dead Vulpera are likely used for raw materials by the still living Vulpera...
They're already a Horde race as far as I'm concerned. They are so freakin' metal.

I hoped those were just decorative made from like... fur of... other things? Or...
Just headed into Vul'dun to start doing their chain and man, I am definitely excited to eventually get to play these guys, even if the males sound like Sonic from that weird OVA we got in the early 2000s.
