So in digging up more support for my Vulpera as Titan creations:
There are three distinct animal-like titan constructs that we know of, two of which succumbed to the curse of flesh.
The Mogu, the Tol'vir, and the Anubisath. All of them were created by the titan keeper Ra, who has a particular affinity for Deserts.
I think when we break into the titan facility, we might see some vulpera-like constructs that haven't yet succumbed to the curse of flesh. Perhaps made out of stone, iron, clockwork or maybe even something new.
Fire foxes? =D

FireFoxes might be a bit too on the nose. Maybe magma/molten foxes?

Well I mean they probably wouldn't be CALLED firefoxes.
Given the vulpera don't appear to be aware of any titan heritage (unlike the mogu, tol'vir or vrykul) they would probably have adopted a different name than their original designation (like dwarves from earthen)
So these hypothetical titan constructs would probably be named something titany like "flameforged" or something.
Dunno if it's been mentioned but evolution from foxes? Seems kinda silly, I know, but what did Tauren evolve from? They're a bovine race, I feel like they could have evolved from cattle, so any beast races you'd think would evolve from their base race. But who knows.
I went ahead and tried my best to colour Zaelouslynx's linework of her Vulpera, Mere. The whole time I felt like that woman who ruined that painting of Jesus.

Hey everyone, I hope the day finds you well!
Once this thread caps feel free to create a "Vulpera Discussion Megathread 2" or what have you. We have a little ways until 1000 posts though so it will be a bit but this is just a heads up.
I take full responsibility for this confusion moving forward and do apologize. Once this thread caps out just create a new one. With that said, please continue to keep up to constructive, civilized, and overall positivity in these threads as you have been as they are wonderful beacons of positivity inside the General Discussion.

Doesn't the War of the Ancients book mention very briefly a Fox Loa? I'd like Vulpera to be children of the wild Gods. The Titan creation stuff is bleh.

It does. And since Loa are also a part of the Zandalar storyline, we might get some lore that way too. How are you imagining that story plays out?
Did someone say Loa?! D-d-d-druids! I know I know. I'm kidding. Probably.

This is just reminding me how much I want an official class list.

Hehe you know me and my druid want. I fully expect to be shot down but it's fun to think about it until that happens!
Just gonna throw it out there but am I the only person who would love Vulpera druids? Let's get some Vulpera druid love going. :) C'mon Blizzard, give me the perfect reason to full time a resto druid.

I think a lot of Vulpera want them. And I do hope you get your wish. I just wish making druid firms wasn't so much extra work because I also want all these other requested races to happen and I know there's only so much art staff hours to go around :(
I want everyone to get what they want.
The druid forms would depend on how they learn it right? If they learn it from Tauren/Darkspear they'll have traditional forms, if they learn it from Zandalari then they'd have dino forms, otherwise they'd have to learn it themselves to get unique forms like the Kul'Tiran's wicker forms.
Playing through Voldun on the beta I don't really see any evidence of druidism. Not that they can't be druids, just that if they do end up being druids I'm thinking they will use traditional forms as they'll have to learn it from Horde.

Shameless plugin that the cunning scavenger race would think that they could outsmart demons and use them to help survive.

Vulpera may be warlocks, but I don't think they could be for that reason.
Vulpera are survivors and from what we see in the beta, not at all arrogant. I doubt they would be foolhardy enough to delve into fel magic without care.
That said, they do have one thing that can drive people to take up fel magic: Desperation. Vulpera have been living as slaves and refugees a long time. A dangerous bargain for the power to protect themselves and survive does fit their mo

Agreed! I love the style of resto Druid, but have to bear through being a troll to do it. At least I was able to come up with a pretty good looking mog to make me feel better about it...but still.
Little fox druids? Heck yeah.
