San’layn are ALL gone. Alliance kill them off in their war campaign story. That Prince guy? Dead for good now. They did something to counter his blood magic and him and the other San’layn are dead and gone. However their are other “vampires” out there.
Well seeing as none of us own these forums, people could talk about High Elves anyway and no one but a CM could do anything about it.
That’s never confirmed that they’re all wiped out. We saw a few slain and have no idea where they came from. People keep saying that but it’s not accurate until we literally see them say “they’re all wiped out”. Until then we have no idea. Saying they’re “ALL” gone us simply false. There’s two missing princes for goodness sakes.
I’ll drop it now though. I only have hope left for Vulpera anyway

In this case I’ll be counting the days until we can start seeing infos on 8.2 and onto and past it’s release.
Why they can’t release them on 8.2 though… shrugs

News are coming. 8.1.5 comes out March 12th. 8.2 PTR won’t be far after. They may make a live with an announcement before PTR, or we may get info from datamining.
I expect to see the first models of the next Alliance allied race (probably junker gnomes… * shrug *), as well as vulpera involved somehow with Mechagon (maybe goblins hire them as a work force to plunder the island). We may also see model improvements for vulpera.
Whatever allied races are planned after 8.1.5 will be a pretty tough secret to keep once 8.2 hits the ptr. I can’t imagine they would even want to keep it a secret at that point. However I was betting on a blizzcon reveal back in November so I don’t really think I can claim to understand their intentions
I sincerely hope that they are indeed working on Vulpera behind the scenes because that is really all I care about at this point. I really hope they are paired with Sethrak too because they are equally as cool and I don’t want to see The Alliance get the short end of the stick yet again.

two very glaring problems i have with vulpera.
1 : can i make the time to level this glorious allied race
2 : We must not ride dolly or dot but the vulpera race mount need to have a catchy song or else we run the risk of losing everything.

I have no doubt at all that vulpera are the next Horde race to be announced.
Sethrak, on the other hand, I don’t think will happen.
Vulpera and even the sethrak to some degree were getting pretty consistent upgrades to their models and animations every beta update up until a couple months before the release of the expansion when it suddenly came to an abrupt halt. Aside from the work finalizing the kultirans we haven’t seen any work at all being done. The abrupt halt of progress of both Vulpera and sethrak at the same time leads me to believe work was just shifted off of the ptr and behind the curtain where we can’t see it. If work continued at the same pace as we saw in the early beta, I would think there has been enough time to finalize Vulpera animations, remodel the sethrak and update goblins and worgen in time for 8.2

I think they just don’t want to announce anything before Kul Tirans and Zandalari are out. It would muddle the hype.

I also think they didn’t have a lot to show at Blizzcon. Maybe not all races have been decided, or maybe the Alliance race paired with vulpera wasn’t nowhere near as polished as it needed to be to be shown. (or maybe it’s junker gnomes and they wanted to avoid the early controversy).

How long after the current ptr hits live do you think it will be before 8.2 hits ptr?

I’d say relatively soon after, maybe a week…perhaps two.
The question is: how long until we get information relevant to our interests in the PTR?
