My only complaint for that is that the Vulpera have been in the expansion since Day 1. It really doesn’t feel fair to give horde ALL this time for ARs; Highmountain, Nightborne, Vulpera, Zandalari. Where as the Alliance would therefore feel…really rushed: Lightborne (7.3), Void Elf (7.3.5), if Mechagnomes are next AR that means 8.2. It really…is getting tiring having ARs thrown at us out of the blue with rushed development and not as much…bonding or anything of the sort to make them stronger allies or build more story with them.
KT we’ve been allied with since the start of the expansion, though there are very few NPCs that we’ve interacted with that actually USE the KT models, most are Kul Tirans who are using the normal human model. Whereas horde do a lot with the ZT and not just the peoples living on the island.
It’s high time we get more development in terms of spending time with the races we’ll be ARs with instead of having the constantly introduced and rushed through to become an AR half a patch later.

That is all because originally the KT were not an AR…
Story was already written out and so forth. That is why they couldn’t do the same as with what happened with the Horde. It is truly sad.
Maghar Orcs got rushed before we got to the Void vs Light aspect as a result as well. Both sides got shanked all because of the KT race.

I’m not talking about just the KT. But what you say adds even more to the point: the horde has it all planned out whereas the alliance seems less…planned.
Having to push the horde back and move things around because the alliance ‘wasn’t ready yet’ doesn’t sound planned at all to me~

Nope it wasn’t… That’s the reason the new AR are taking untill 8.2 to be released for us, since the KT models are brand new. And takes time to develop.
If they had just said beforehand: “Hey fellas, the ZT are being delayed because we want to allow the KT’s to be released at the same time… It might take a few months still. So sorry on that, but Alliance you get cool KT’s! And Horde, your ZT will shine!”
Might have prevented a lot of backlash…
Yea but we see, so far, how much their shining expansion exclusive of ‘allied races’ is getting them with so little being told or shown which is further discouraging the players who are hyped over it.
I swear if we just keep getting ‘more flavors of humans’ I may just go horde permanently.
I mean…I get that Worgen are considered beastial…but…let’s face the facts: we have humans, short/stout humans, tiny humans, fat humans, cursed humans…Draenei are truly the only ‘beast’ race we have that isn’t human in any shape or form in lore or appearance besides the body shape. Worgen are just a controlled curse of what were originally humans. Junker Gnomes would simply be…tiny humans with prosthetics…
I would love a TRUE beast, unrelated to humans, to be on the alliance for a change…Pandaren are neutral and not exclusively alliance.

I know this feeling!
And at this point, it would be a good chance for the Alliance, to have something more interesting in the Alliance, than junkgnomes, for which we do not know much and did not arouse the same interest in the Alliance, that vulperas are awakening in Horde!
If the devs’ wish is to give the Alliance another void thing vibe, with junkgnomes, I’ll just regret the very little Alliance has done with Allied Races.
You must really like me, faving everything I say almost xD I’m just jesting though.
However, I do feel the exact same…I mean, the Dark Iron look cool and I actually LOVE the Void Elf racials…they don’t appeal to me as much aesthetically as the Worgen or most of the races on horde do. I want a little more fantasy flavor on my alliance than just the same thing over and over again. Void Elf and Draenei are cool fantasy races, don’t get me wrong! I love my worgen through and through, but I just…enjoy the Vulpera and giving the horde what they’re lacking (“cute and fluffy”) and I’d love to get reciprocated the same thing for the alliance that we’re missing which…Junker doesn’t even come close to doing lol

It’s your fault, for always saying something I agree with!
So a crippled, cyber-Mekkatorque is going to be the harbinger of the mecka-gnomes as an allied race, maybe? This would be a neat counterpart to Vulpera IMO.

Maybe junk gnomes were replaced by/delayed for the KT? It always seemed odd that they made that detailed junkyard in Tiragarde with new assets for, what, a 3 quest chain that dead ends abruptly.
The Mechagon zone could have originally been planned as the equivalent to the Mag’har’s special version of Draenor. It would kinda make sense that both races would have their own relatively large outdoor zone like that if they were to be released together.

More good news, officially from a game designer. Video is timestamped to 12:52.

I see nothing about Vulpera on here… where’s the timestamp?

It’s not about Vulpera, just confirming more Allied Races in the future beyond KT and Zandalari.

Oh, well here’s hoping Vulpera are one of them.

I still think the strongest argument for Vulpera is that at this point they represent one of the smallest development-investment-needed to payoff-achieved ratios of any potential race they could add. They are only a handful of animations short of being a full PC race and they clearly have a following. It just makes good business sense.

As much as people doubt them, that’s how I feel about the Sethrak as well. Even though not as much had been datamined, what WAS found had gotten quite the collective audience involved. With how large the following is for not just Sethrak, but with Vulpera as well, I agree: it’d be a great business move to make them both AR because of the large amounts of interest in both of the races~

Vulpera would be too boring at this point.
Not only are they a NEW race and not an ALLIED RACE, but they no longer have any appeal other than being micro-pandas.
Any new allied race will be an existing race with new flair or a twist.
I don’t know where Blizz gets off with that excuse that KTs weren’t intended as an AR. What world are we living in here!? The freaking Twilight Zone? The models were datamined long before the xpac was even released. There has been outrage that they weren’t available at the beginning. They were a *** **** SELLING POINT!
*The answer is: it’s just that… an excuse. They’re blowing smoke, making things up to try to cover for whatever they have going on behind the scenes.

There nothing about them being like the Pandas, except being anthros, like Tauren or Worgen.
