or anything…I mean even the alliance one just kind of…stopped. We helped them get their temple back from faithless around them (or rather helped lessen the amount of faithless surrounding the outskirts). And when it just stopped, for horde, with Korthek dying, what about the after effects of Mythrax being defeated? I know he’s an old god, so he can still come back again some day but…
we’re left with nothing to go off of, granted at least that part of the quest was more or less in ties with the Vulpera that almost the entirety of the horde Vol’dun story is based with. At least continue it or give it closure, don’t just end it on an open ended conclusion with some many loose ties.
They could have even have the Faithful, Vulpera and those undead Zandalari working together to push it back only to fail which leads to Mythrax breaking the last seal just the way it ended was lame.
yea I agree with that, honestly…but they haven’t been up to par with story writing for quite some time. -shrug- Vulpera has had so much build up, at this point, it’s a matter of ‘when’ not ‘if’…still waiting for any kind of light to even be shined on what alliance might get instead of a bunch of: ‘is it this one? or is this this other one?’ we keep getting hints or possible suggestions…yet nothing as definitive as the vulpera are by this point.
If even by a slight chance we don’t get Sethrak for either side I’d welcome the new fish people as a solid runner up I want to have faith but since Vulpera has been shown their models have already been improved and rigged to wear almost all armor Sethrak still have nothing for the public to fiddle with.
yea I’m kind of wondering if that was done on purpose. I mean, a fair amount, though not AS much, was leaked on sethrak as well. It just so happened at the time everything was hidden and secured much more effectively to not be datamined, the sethrak had less shown at that moment. Though what WAS shown, points heavily towards yes for them, but with so much unknown and not much story, it leaves a vast majority of people wondering.
I mean if it’s fish people, great~ but that’s not for a long time, nor would the mecha-gnome if that’s also going to be an option.
All I’m saying is that we literally have NO idea what our next one really is, and that’s what is so annoying lol. Granted, if vulpera hadn’t had so much mined, no one would know what was truly next in line for horde either. Even on mmochampion they have vulpera listed under allied race when nothing was announced, and it’s been that way since March/April.
and I for one would love to no longer need to:
Flight Master -> [(glyph of disguise)Pick Pocket] -> hearth, every time before logging out; to use Ai-Li’s Skymirror to play as one for 10 minutes upon logging in. XD
They already look & feel great to play, and I love their casting animations (I noticed that the male model JumpStart animation does a flip, whereas the female doesn’t appear to have one).
Yeah that’s way to much for just an appearance that last for 10 minutes you think by now they’d make a toy that let’s you take the form of the residents of Vol’ dun like the toys that make you become certain races, npcs and enemies.
Looks good, and the ‘ReadySpellDirected’ animation is so mischievous and cute. [edit: and that ChannelCastOmni animation, hope they get a few caster classes if they become playable]
I wonder if any hunter gear looks nice on them, I’ve never managed to find any that I liked.
In one of the new warzones, the Alliance burn down all of the Vulpera caravans… I felt so bad for them. The Alliance is so evil, burning things down all the time. I bet they burnt down Teldrassil just so they could blame the Banshee Queen.
I always find it hilarious when Alliance cry about Sylvanas setting fire to a real threat to the Horde when here’s the Alliance setting fire to a race who haven’t really done anything to them except assist the Horde.
Hypocrisy at its finest. Yet folks wonder why I agree with Sylvanas and her cold tactics.
That’s because the Horde cry about being the bad guys so instead of making a reason for the Alliance to attack the Vulpera blizzard writing staff when full retard and just had them start burning a neutral race to make them also look like bad guys. Someone forgot to tell the writing staff you never go full retard.
But with the Vulpera, Alliance don’t get to whine about Sylvanas burning Teldrassil, and Horde can’t whine about looking like bad guys (when some of us actually enjoy she did that).
Blizzard just made an excuse to silence the whiny side of the Horde. That much is true.
But it does give reason why Vulpera won’t be an Alliance allied race.
Well, it was not a surprise that vulperas would become members of the horde!
Only the way this would happen is that they needed definitions!
Now we have angry vulperas with Alliance troops in Vol’dun!
The next step, is someone in the horde proposing a deeper union between him vultures and the red faction!
